Chin Eliminated With Two Unlucky Loses Back-to-Back

Livello 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Michelle Chin bet out for 1,200 from early position on the flop 5A4 and got raised to 3,000 by Nancy Birnbaum on her direct left. Chin called the raise.

The turn came the K. Chin checked and Birnbaum bet out 7,700. After taking some time to think, Chin called. The river was the 6. Chin now led out for three red chips or 15,000 total, putting her opponent all in. Birnbaum snap-called.

Chin turned over 87 for the flush, which was no good, as Birnbaum had A4 for the nut flush and the double-up.

Chin had just around 7,000 chips left after the hand and was under the gun the very next hand. She accidentally said: "I call", then corrected to raise, but her first action counted. Sigrid Dencker was in middle position and raised to over 2,000 chips. After action folded back to Chin, she went all in and Dencker called.

Michelle Chin: KKAll in
Sigrid Dencker: QQ

Chin was at risk but ahead, and remained so on the 7A10 flop and the 4 turn. However, on the river, a two-outer, the Q, rolled off, capping off Chin's short but extreme run of bad luck.

Cai Gets Back Some Chips

Livello 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After losing a pot having to fold two pair, Cai was more lucky in the next hand she played. When action came around to her on the button, she seemed to have missed that the player under the gun already raised to 1,000 and wanted to put in a raise herself, but it counted as a call. The big blind also called.

The flop came 986. The player in the big blind led for 1,100. Under the gun called, as did Cai.

The turn 2 got a check from both of Cai's opponents, and she bet 5,500. The big blind called, but the under-the-gun player folded.

The river was the 5, bringing in four to a straight. Both players checked. Under the gun showed 109, but Cai was able to take that one down with Q9 for a pair of nines with a better kicker.

Cai Making the Right Read

Livello 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was caught on the flop of A3Q. Jessica Cai checked in the small blind, and Melanie Kay bet 1,200 in middle position. Cai raised to 3,500 and Kaye called.

The turn was the K. Cai decided to check and Kaye bet 6,000. Cai called.

The river was the 9. After another check from Cai, Kaye bet 15,000. After some thinking, Cai folded. She later said she flopped two pair, but thought her opponent might have had ace-king or better. Kaye shared that she made a flush.

Both players checked the 886 flop.

On the 2 turn, Cassell bet 3,500, and Mitchell called after a brief pause.

Cassell regained the lead on the 8 river with a bet of 6,000. Mitchell took some time to consider before ultimately making the call. Cassell showed 99 for a full house, and Mitchell's cards went into the muck.

Rodriguez Rakes in the Pot

Livello 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Elizabeth Rodriguez started the action by opening to 1,200 from middle position. The hijack called, and the button moved all in for around 5,900. This got a call from the small blind, Rodriguez and the hijack, taking it four-ways to the flop.

The dealer placed the J74 and all players checked to the K turn. The small blind raised to 3,000 and only Rodriguez made the call.

The players were heads-up when the 6 came on the river and both players checked to showdown. Rodriguez showed K10 for the win and the small blind mucked his hand.

The majority of the table were in the hand when the QA5 flop was shown.

The small blind checked the flop and Dara Haskell raised to 3,000 from the big blind. This got a call from under the gun, the button and the small blind, taking the hand down to four players.

All players checked the 2 turn to get to the 8 river. The small blind checked again, with Haskell betting another 3,000. Under the gun folded and the button and the small blind called.

Haskell showed A10 for top pair, and the other players mucked their hands. It was a big win for Haskell, and she left the hand with over double starting stack.
