Lewis, Joshi Chop One Up

Livello 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Sachin Joshi opened to 280,000 from the cutoff and Toby Lewis defended his big blind.

Lewis checked on the J8Q flop and then called after Joshi continued for 250,000.

The A turn saw Lewis check for a second time, prompting Joshi to bet again, this time making it a much heftier 810,000 to call. Undeterred, Lewis flatted.

Both players checked on the 6 river and Joshi turned over 108 for the lone pair of eights. Lewis had the same pair holding 98 and, with Joshi's kicker not playing, the two chopped up a sizable pot.

Grise and Frey Sent to the Rail

Livello 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Benjamin Grise was down to around 15 big blinds and got the last of his chips in the middle against Richard Ryder. Grise was holding the best hand and in a dominating position.

Benjamin Grise: AK
Richard Ryder: AQ

The flop fell AQ6 and Ryder picked up two pair to take the lead. The J on the turn gave Grise a straight draw as he pleaded for his outs. The 4 peeled off on the river, which was no help and Grise was eliminated.

Across the room, Hunter Frey was seen standing up from his chair and his chips were being pushed to his neighbor Juan Maceiras Lapido. An ace-high board was spread across the felt with Lapido holding A9 to claim the victory.

Livello 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Action folded to Rene Lazaro in the small blind who raised to 500,000. Frank Bonacci in the big blind then reraised enough to put Lazaro all in, and Lazaro called for around 1,000,000 more.

Rene Lazaro: KJ
Frank Bonacci: K9

Lazaro had Bonacci dominated until the 924 flop gave Bonacci top pair. The board ran out 56 and Lazaro was sent to the rail.

Last Woman (Still) Standing

Estelle Cohuet
Estelle Cohuet

Estelle Cohuet, who became the last woman standing in the record-breaking Main Event following the elimination of Nikita Luther, was under the gun in a heads-up pot against Toby Lewis in the hijack.

Cohuet bet 325,000 on the flop of 328 and Lewis called. Cohuet then quickly moved all in for around 1,050,000 on the Q turn to send Lewis into the tank. Cohuet covered her face with a scarf as she waited for an action from Lewis, who eventually folded.

Torelli Jams Flop

Livello 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Alec Torelli opened to 250,000 from early position before Jose Aguilera three-bet to 750,000 in middle position. Action folded back around to Torelli, who responded with a four-bet to 1,850,000. After lengthy consideration, Aguilera made the call to see a flop.

The flop came J710 and, after several minutes, Torelli moved all in with the covering stack. That didn't seem to sit well with Aguilera as he mulled over a decision for his tournament life. He did in the end choose to pick a better spot, mucking to concede the pot to Torelli.

Chan Flops the World on Hoover

Livello 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Henry Chan raised to 250,000 from the cutoff with A2 before Logan Hoover three-bet to 650,000 on the button with A7.

Chan called and smacked the 354 flop, making a straight. He led out for 650,000 and Hoover raised again, this time to 1,675,000.

Chan just called and both players checked the Q turn. The river came the 10 and Chan bet 1,700,000. Hoover quickly mucked and Chan, who was down to less than 1,000,000 at one point today, raked in the pot to climb near 15,000,000.

Jachtmann Puts Jones to the Test

Livello 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action was picked up in a heads-up pot with nearly 2,500,000 in the middle and the flop showing KQ3. Jan-Peter Jachtmann bet 1,200,000 from the big blind and Steven Jones made the call in early position.

The 4 hit the turn and Jachtmann announced all in, covering the 6,200,000 remaining for Jones, who went deep in the tank. After several minutes, Jones reluctantly let his cards go and the pot was sent to Jachtmann.

"Did you have aces?" Jones asked while Jachtmann stacked his chips.

"I'll show you one," Jachtmann joked as he pretended to turn one up but then slid both cards to the dealer face down.
