Ruch Busts; Ghio Doubles

Livello 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Christopher Ruch got it in good with A10 out of the big blind against the KJ of Toby Lewis. But the K22K8 runout left Ruch drawing dead.

Soon after on the same table, Joe Ghio was all in for 1,630,000 with the AA and Harsheel Kothari looked him up holding AK.

The K74 flop gave Kothari some equity, but he didn't improve on the 9 turn and 4 river.

Runner-Runner Quads Keep Rakuss Alive

Livello 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Clement Richez raised to 200,000 from the hijack before Eduards Rakuss shoved all in for 980,000 in the cutoff. Dean Hutchison asked for a count on the button before calling. Richez got out of the way.

Eduards Rakuss: 1010
Dean Hutchison: KK

Hutchison had woken up with kings and had Rakuss found himself at big risk of elimination after the flop came 223. The turn, though, changed fortunes greatly with a 10 that gave Rakuss a full house. The 10 came on the river and Rakuss made running quads to double up.
