Livello 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Stefan Lehner opened to 17,000 with the KQ and Jules Dickerson called out of the small blind holding the 1010. Both checked the 763 flop and abet by Dickerson on the 8 turn won the pot for Dickerson.

The table then switched to a heads-up flop of A75. Brian Andrews bet 30,000 on the button with the Q10 but folded when Dominik Nitsche check-raised raised to 100,000 with the 98.

Siboni and Benson Play a Big Pot, Not the Clock

Livello 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

While "floor, time!" and consequent countdowns can be heard frequently throughout the room due to a lack of hand-for-hand play so far, Eli Siboni and Gary Benson were two of the few players who were playing postflop.

The board read 310J5 and Siboni fired 105,000 chips into a pot of roughly the same size. Benson made the call, creating a pot of more than 300,000 chips.

The river 10 then paired the board and caused the action to go check-check. Siboni showed A8 for the flush and it was good enough to rake in the sizable pot.

Some Blinds Battle, Some Do Not

Livello 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Richard Chevalier and Timothy Holt were heads up in the blinds with the flop reading J107. Chevalier led out with a bet of 16,000 and Holt raised to 35,000. Chevalier called and the 4 landed on the turn.

Chevalier checked this time and Holt threw in a small bet of 15,000. Chevalier called and the 3 hit the river. Chevalier checked once more and Holt reached for a bet, which prompted a quick fold from Chevalier.

At an adjacent table, the action folded to David Eldridge in the small blind who shoved all in as the bigger stack. Christopher Usude was in the big blind with a stack of 86,000 and went into the tank. The clock was called and as the time was counted down, Usude folded his QQ face up.

Pentefountas: "Keep it Clean!"

Livello 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with the board reading 782 and players heads up. Ioannis Pentefountas had bet 55,000 from the big blind and Hajime Watanabe moved all in with a covering stack, applying maximum pressure with the money bubble being only a few eliminations away. With a pained expression on his face, Pentefountas flicked in the call and was at risk.

Ioannis Pentefountas: 88
Hajime Watanabe: KJ

Pentefountas had flopped the nuts with top set, but Watanabe was very live with the possibility of catching any club for a flush or running cards for a straight.

"Keep it clean. Keep it clean," Pentefountas beckoned as the board ran out to decide his fate.

"Good card" Pentefountas commented as the K came on the turn, removing the runner straight possibilities for Watanabe.

The river was the 10 and Pentefountas stayed alive, securing a full double-ip while Watanabe's stack was cut in half.

Clock Called Twice on Grogan, Heelis Shows the Bluff

Livello 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The pot stood at approximately 60,000 with two players looking at a board that read A9102.

In the big blind was Danny Grogan, who checked the action to Connor Heelis on the button. Heelis bet out 55,000.
Grogan thought for long enough that the clock was called. In the final remaining seconds that his hand was live, he made the call.

Grogan checked again on the 5 river. Heelis bet out 170,000, the remainder of Grogan's stack. Deciding for his tournament life, Gorgan had the clock called on him on back-to-back streets. As the floor counted down his final five seconds, he made the fold.

Heelis tabled J8 to show he made the move with just jack-high.
