On the second hand of the day, Juan Pardo got his final 18,000 chips in the middle against Lok Chan preflop.

Juan Pardo: KJ
Lok Chan: A6

Chan flopped an ace on 3AQ. Pardo still had a gutshot straight draw, but it did not come in on the Q turn or the 8 river.

He was one of the first few players to see their Main Event dreams get crushed on Day 3.

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jiacong Zhang opened to 5,500 and Ravi Raghavan called a couple of spots to his left before Jon Gisler three-bet 19,500 in the small blind. Zhang took about 30 seconds and made the call, and Raghavan got out of the way.

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Leonard Maue opened to 5,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 15,000 by Barry Greenstein on the button. Action folded back to Maue, who called.

Maue check-called a 15,000 bet from Greenstein on the 732 flop and then both players checked on the 7 turn.
