Lee Bluffs Big

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a completed board of 247J8, Brandon Lee had bet 58,000 into a pot of 125,000 from the big blind. His opponent was in the cutoff and thought for several minutes.

Eventually, he made the call. Lee showed 33 for a failed bluff, while his opponent made a hero call with 1010 for a pair of tens. Lee forfeited a bunch of his stack, but is still left with more than 50 big blinds.

Boyko Doubles Through Antonius

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player in early position opened to 6,000 and Patrik Antonius three-bet to 17,000. Yuriy Boyko then moved all in from the small blind for 64,500, forcing a fold from the original raiser.

"I don't know how I can lay this down," Antonius quietly said as he contemplated his decision. He did not think for long before making the call to put Boyko at risk.

Yuriy Boyko: AK
Patrik Antonius: AJ

Boyko was in good shape to double with a bigger ace and remained in the lead on the K66 flop and 6 turn.

"Six!" one of Boyko's tablemates called for just before the river, which got a few laughs from around the table.

The river was the 7 and Boyko secured a full double up while making a small dent in Antonius' stack.

Meanwhile at another table, Michael Gathy has been eliminated from the tournament.

One Bet Good for Sammartino

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 7,000 from the cutoff and was called by the big blind.

Both players checked through the 9J4 flop to the 7 turn at which point the big blind checked for a second time.

Sammartino fired a delayed continuation of 12,000 which was met by a swift fold from his opponent to keep Italy's all time money leader chipping up as he seeks to improve upon his runner-up finish in the 2019 Main Event.

Dzivielevski Finds The Call to Eliminate Pyke

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Yuri Dzivielevski

Action was joined on the turn, with the board showing J4Q9 and over 100,000 already in the pot. Yuri Dzievelevski, the big blind, bet 62,000. Danny Pyke made the call from the button.

The A hit the river. Dzievelevski bet four red chips, 20,000. Pyke took a few moments before announcing that he was all in. Dzievelevski began to think. He asked for a count, and the dealer confirmed the all-in bet to be 154,000. Dzievelevski continued to shuffle his chips as he considered whether or not to call. He looked at his cards once more, but did not make a decision. After several minutes, the clock was called. Before a tournament official could arrive, Dzievelevski announced the call.

Pyke turned over 22 and held only a pair of twos. Dzievelevski showed QJ for two pair to score the knockout and add a huge amount to his stack.

Majed Gets Rivered

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

An early position player open-raised to 6,000 and Rene Majed defended the big blind.

The flop was fanned out A23 and Majed check-called a 9,000 bet from his opponent. The turn then came the A and Majed checked again.

His opponent put out a large bet of 25,000, which Majed check-raised to 55,000. The early position player made the call and the 2x river completed the double-paired board.

Both players checked and Majed tabled 54 for the flopped nuts, but his opponent rivered a full house with his AK. Majed lost another pot and is down a bunch since the start of Day 3.

Rios Makes a Big Call on the River; Hawkins Holding Steady

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 2J4, a player in early position bet 7,500 and Jorge Rios called from under the gun.

The turn came the 6 and Rios faced another bet of 28,000. He again called to the A river and checked over to his opponent for a third time.

The early-position player then fired out 47,000 and Rios tanked for a moment before calling. His opponent showed KQ for a bluff, while Rios had J9 to win the pot with a pair of jacks.

Maurice Hawkins is also at this table and still sitting on around 950,000. Martin Jacobson, the 2014 Main Event champion, and last year's finalist Matthew Su are sitting side-by-side at an adjacent table.

Sacrispeyre Gives it Up on the Flop

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Edouard Sacrispeyre opened 6,000 on the button before Luis Abdalla three-bet 21,000 in the small blind. The big blind quickly folded and Sacrispeyre tanked 30 seconds before making the call.

When the 543 flop hit the felt, Abdalla continued for 15,000, and that was enough for Sacrispeyre to surrender the pot as he pitched his cards into the muck.
