Alfonso Cammarota was in the big blind when he faced a raise from a late position player of 2,000 and the cutoff had flat called. Cammarota decided a raise was in order and made it 6,000. After a little deliberation, the late position player called and the cutoff folded . The flop came out Q♣5♥6♥ and Cammarota came out firing with 3,500; the late position player called.

The turn was the 6♦ and Cammarota was not letting his foot off the gas pedal. He placed a bet of 5,000 and the late position player stayed in again.

The river was the 6♣ and Cammarota made the final bet 9,000. The late position player called and mucked when Cammarota flipped over J♠J♥ for the full house.

As he raked in the chips and shared the good news with his wife Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer, he joked "fish gets lucky!"

Diogo came into Day 2d with only ten big blinds and, after less than half a level, just four remained. His last 3,200 went in the middle after an early position raise from Jeffrey Borris and a call from Renan Meneguetti from middle position.

The two players with actions checked through to the river on 8♦J♥5xK♦Q♦. Meneguetti bet 3,000 on the river after a third check from Borris, but the latter quickly folded.

Meneguetti showed A♠10♥ for Broadway and Coelho's 3♠3♣ had no shot at beating that.

"TheTrooper" Takes a Pot

A player from under the gun opened the action to 1,900 and only popular YouTuber Timothy "TheTrooper" Watts made the call in the cutoff.

The flop fanned out A♣9♠6♠ and the under-the-gun player continued for 1,500, which Watts called. On the 2♥ turn the initial raiser slowed down with a check to Watts who announced a bet of 4,000. His opponent took a few seconds to contemplate his decision, but eventually let his cards go and the pot was sent to "TheTrooper".

Ertel Gets a Fold from Reed

Joe Hachem opened to 1,700 from middle position and received calls from Michael Ertel in late position, Benjamin Reed in the cutoff and the big blind to send action four-ways to the flop.

Both the big blind and Hachem checked following the 7♥9♥10♦ flop, prompting Ertel to lead out for 6,000. Reed made the call while the big blind and Hachem got out of the way.

Ertel slowed down on the 6♦ turn and checked to Reed, who fired off 8,400. After some thought, Ertel called.

The board pairing 10♥ river saw the betting lead change once again with Ertel choosing to take an aggressive line by making it 15,000 to call. Reed did not appear entirely comfortable with the situation and did end up tossing his hand away to send the pot to Ertel.

The flop came 4♠J♦6♦ and Grossman continued for 2,200. Dodd called and both players checked the 9♣ turn.

The river came the 4♣ and Dodd led out for 2,100. Grossman called and Dodd showed J♥3♣ for top pair. "It felt so blocky," Grossman said as he mucked.

Tom Dwan is making a rare appearance at the WSOP as a late entrant today and took his seat at this table.

The player in early position raised to 1,800 and the players on the cutoff, button and big blind all came along. The flop came out 4♦4♥K♥ and the big blind checked. The early position player made the continuation bet of 2,200 and everyone folded except Daniel Vargas on the button.

The turn brought the 9♠ and early position bet 5,000. Despite being in the hand, Vargas carried on his casual conversation at the table and called.

Both players checked through the river 5♥ and Vargas flipped over A♦K♠ and the early position player flipped over one card, the K♣, and Vargas scooped the pot with his pair of kings with the ace kicker.
