Boyer Flops Set To Crack Aces

The action was picked up in a pot of close to 27,000 on a flop showing J♥8♥4♣. A player in the big blind led out for 12,500 and Jonathan Boyer raised to 30,000 from early position. The big blind moved all in, covering the 73,000 total for Boyer, who quickly called.

A player in early position raised to 3,000, finding James Cavanaugh in the hijack who three-bet to 8,500. The original raiser called.

The flop of 4♥J♥3♠ saw the early position check the action to Cavanaugh who continued for 11,000. His opponent called.

The 2♠ fell on the turn and again the action was check to Cavanaugh who bet 50,000, more than enough to put his opponent all in. After some time in the tank, they finally tossed their cards into the muck and conceded the pot to Cavanaugh.

Sabok Takes from Kenney

The A♠Q♦7♣ flop was checked through to see the 9♥ turn.

The 3♣ hit the turn, and Sabok check-raised the 3,000 bet of Kenney to 11,000. Kenney made the call.

When the 2♠ landed on the river, Sabok fired a bet of 20,000. Kenney took about 30 seconds before making the call and saw the bad news as Sabok tabled 9♦7♦ for two pair, and she mucked her hand.

Kotran Cracks Aces to Bust One

With the cards already on their backs, Joshua Kotran had an opponent all-in and at risk with Q♦Q♥ versus A♠A♥.

The J♦10♠9♦ flop provided the open-ender and the K♦ turn improved Kotran to a straight, nothing then changed with the 7♣ river.

Kotran apologised for the suckout and his opponent leaned over to shake hands with the words "sh*t happens bro, take it down".

Schroeder Finds Kings for the Knockout

A player opened to 4,000 from middle position and was called by a player in the cutoff. The button then moved all in for 38,000. Derek Schroeder in the big blind took some time before opting to make the call with chips behind. Both the middle position player and the cutoff got out of the way to put the button officially at risk.

Schroeder had found kings at an opportune moment to put himself in good position to get the knockout. The J♣7♥10♥ flop immediately made things dicey for the cowboys as the at risk player could now hit a king, heart or ace to take the lead. Nothing changed on the 4♣ turn, though, with the J♠ river failing to improve the button and handing the pot to Schroeder.

Jing Gets Ace-King Twice

"Clubs dealer," the at-risk player pleaded as he stood up from his seat and began filming the action with his phone. He instead saw the board come A♦3♣6♠5♥7♥ and Jing finish with top pair to send him to the rail.

"Good game, guys. It was fun while it lasted," he said on the way to the exit.

The next hand, Jing three-bet to 9,000 and received no callers, showing AxKx once again. "I'm only playing aces against you," a tablemate told him.
