Garcia Shows Ananthapadmanabha the Goods

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Harish Ananthapadmanabha raised to 3,000 from under the gun as action folded around to Ryan Garcia who called in the big blind.

The flop came KQ6 and Garcia led out for 3,500. Ananthapadmanabha quickly called and they saw the 4 fall on the turn.

As Garcia continued to chat with his tablemates about Mike Tyson's prowess in his prime, he fired out another 5,500. Ananthapadmanabha this time gave it some thought before folding.

Garcia showed him KQ for top two pair as the boxing champion took down the pot.

"Were you ever worried in that hand," a tablemate asked.

"I was worried I wasn't going to get paid," Garcia replied with a laugh as he and Ananthapadmanabha exchanged a fist bump.

John Cynn

Three players saw the turn of Q8610, creating a pot of about 40,000. John Cynn was the first to act and fired a bet of 22,000. Both Wayne Nicholsen on his left and the player in position made the call.

When the 3 completed the board, Cynn continued to barrel with a bet of 32,000. Nicholsen instantly called and the player behind put his cards in the muck.

Cynn tabled 88 for a set of eights and Nicholsen showed his two pair, tabling Q10.

Bosch Doesn't See the Writing on the Wall

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Heads-up to the 7652 turn, Oliver Bosch checked out of the big blind and Andrew Wall bet 14,500 from two seats over. Bosch called and checked the 10 on the river once more.

That prompted a bet worth 22,000 by Wall and Bosch paid it off to get shown the 55 for a set of fives, exposing his 106 for two pair with plenty of frustration.

Bagosy Builds His Stack; Credits "Farmer Bill"

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player in middle position raised to 3,500 and was called by John Bagosy in the big blind.

Bagosy check-called a 7,500 bet from his opponent on the K74 flop and then check-raised a 14,500 bet from his opponent all in on the 9x turn, which was enough to put his opponent at risk for just under 100,000.

Bagosy's opponent tanked and eventually folded pocket aces face up. Bagosy tabled 97 and said he played it for "Farmer Bill" as he collected the pot.

Mizrachi Flops the World

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Robert Mizrachi
Robert Mizrachi

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading 9762 and a sizable pot already brewing. A player in early position bet 12,000 and Robert Mizrachi made the call from the hijack. A player on the button raised to 42,000 and the early position player called for less, putting himself all in and at risk.

Action was back on Mizrachi, who moved all in for 109,500 sending the player on the button, who slightly covered Mizrachi, deep into the tank. After about a minute the button made the call to put both of his opponents at risk.

Early Position: A5
Robert Mizrachi: 108
Button: 66

In what can only be described as a cooler, the button had flopped a set, the early position player had flopped the nut-flush draw and Mizrachi had flopped a straight with a redraw to a straight flush. The river was the 8, and Mizrachi's ten-high straight was enough to secure a colossal triple up, eliminating one opponent and catapulting Mizrachi near the top of the counts in the process.

Stout Smacks the Flops on McMahon

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Chad McMahon's day began with a river suckout. It just ended with a brutal cooler, and not in his favor this time.

McMahon three-bet to 12,000 from the cutoff and Brittney Stout called in early position, as did one other opponent. The flop came 6A8 and McMahon moved all in for 30,000. Stout snap-called while the other player got out of the way.

Chad McMahon: AK
Brittney Stout: A6

McMahon had flopped top pair, but Stout had two pair and improved to a full house on the 6 turn. The river 5 was no help to McMahon and he was sent to the rail.
