Hunichen Faces Tough River Decision

Livello 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Chris Hunichen was in a heads up pot against Kory Kilpatrick. The board read 86KQ and there were 11,000 chips to be fought over. Hunichen checked from the big blind before Kilpatrick bet out 6,700 chips. Hunichen made the call and the 10 river graced the felt.

Hunichen checked again and Kilpatrick went all-in for his last 30,000 chips. Hunichen tanked for a few minutes, thinking out loud in the process.

"Did you get there on the river?" Hunichen asked. "I have a good hand," he continued. Eventually, he put in the call and Kilpatrick showed down KK for top set.

"Oh, you already had it," Hunichen concluded, as he showed his Q8 for two pair.

McCann Puts Rheem to the test

Livello 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Not long after Chino Rheem had moved all in to put one of his opponents on a tough decision, Rheem found himself in a similar situation but with the roles reversed.

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading K476. Jonathan McCann had checked and Chino Rheem had bet 15,000. McCann responded by moving all in for 45,200, putting Rheem, who covered McCann slightly, into the tank.

"If you have the flush I'm drawing dead..." Rheem thought out loud. "I feel like you just have the ace of hearts".

"I don't know what to do" Rheem continued after a minute of thought. "All I have is one pair".

After about four minutes of deliberation, Rheem opted to fold, sliding a nice pot in McCann's direction.

"Pick one" McCann offered his opponent. Rheem took McCann up on his offer, revealing the A in McCann's hand.

"Aces?" Rheem speculated as McCann collected his chips.

Livello 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The under-the-gun player raised to 3,000, finding Rene Nezhoda in the small blind who called. The big blind three-bet to 12,000 to which the original raiser flat called. Nezhoda considered his options before coming in for a four-bet jam for approximately 134,000.
