Moses Shoves The River

Livello 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

A player opened to 2,000 in early position and action folded to David Moses on the button who three bet to 6,000 which saw the initial raiser call.

The flop came out KQ5 and both players checked to the 6 turn where the early position player bet 6,500 and Moses called.

On the 3 river, the early position player bet 7,800 and Moses responded by moving all in for 59,400 effective and his opponent went into the tank.

"I actually have something," he lamented while Moses stayed silent, donning his iconic grinch hat. After some more time, the other player flashed a K and tossed his hand into the muck while the bracelet winner raked in the pot to add to his growing stack.

Disastrous Start for Day 1b Chip Leader Van der Spuy

Livello 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy
Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy

Jean-Pierre van der Spuy grabbed the chip lead on Day 1b, but his chip stack had already been mostly demolished, with just 35,000 chips remaining, when the action was caught.

Thomas Galusha then went all-in for around 15,000 from the cutoff and Van der Spuy called from the small blind.

Thomas Galusha: KxQx
Jean-Pierre van der Spuy: 1010

Galusha flopped a pair on 8QA and that would remain the best hand when the turn fell the 8 and the 6 river completed the board.

Another hit for Van der Spuy's stack as he now only plays roughly 25 big blinds. Meanwhile, Lawrence Chang has also lost some chips, while Jules Dickerson seems to be the biggest beneficiary of the chip trading, and is nearing the 400,000 mark.

A player in the hijack opened to 1,600 and Ryan Feldman three-bet to 4,200 from the cutoff, receiving a call from the initial opener.

The hijack check-called another bet from Feldman on the 10 turn, this time for 5,100. Both players checked the 9 river.

The hijack turned over K5 for fourth pair and Feldman turned over 87 for a pair of sevens to take down a decent pot.
