Kings Squared

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Ronnie Bardah kicked things off with a raise to 3,000 in the cutoff and the button three-bet to 8,500. Lachezar Petkov four-bet to 21,500 from the big blind which got a quick fold from Bardah. The button five-bet to 55,000 and Petkov six-bet shoved all in for 141,500. The button thought for over a minute before finally making the call.

Lachezar Petkov: KK
Button: KK

Petkov was disappointed to see his opponent's kings while the opposite was true for the button. The board ran out A7232 and both players were able to take their chips back.

"There's two kinds of people in this world," Bardah started. "Those that cheer for a chop and those that cheer for a suit."

In a 12,500 pot, the board was dealt up until the turn and read Q472. Oscar Alache was in the big blind and checked to Giuseppe Galluzzo in middle position. The latter then bet 9,000 and received a call from Alache.

The 3 river was then revealed and both players checked. Alache turned ober 76 and his pair of sevens was good for the winner. Galluzzo need not fret, however, as he has amassed a stack of over 400,000 throughout Day 2abc.

Gondolo Finds a Two Outer

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Two players remained in the hand as the pot stood at approximately 55,000.

On a board of J610, the player in the hijack checked the action to Mariano Gondolo in the cutoff who bet out for 20,000. The hijack responded with a raise to 45,000 and Gondolo called.

The turn came the 2. The hijack moved all in putting Gondolo to the test for his effective stack of 96,500. Gondolo called.

Mariano Gondolo: AA
Hijack: JJ

With one card to come, Gondolo needed to find one of his two outs to stay alive. The A fell on the river and Gondolo found the full double up.

Infuriated by their own misfortune, the hijack erupted from the table.

"My friend, you're invincible!" exclaimed one of the other players at the table.
