Prince Getting Some Back

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Jean "Prince" Gaspard raised to 4,000 in late position which saw action fold around to Cord Garcia in the small blind who called and the big blind called as well.

The flop of QJQ saw action check around to Gaspard who bet 8,000 which only Garcia called.

On the turn A, Garcia checked a second time to Gaspard who moved all in for 39,000 and Garcia rolled his eyes and tossed his hand into the muck, ceding the pot to the fellow bracelet winner.

The pot stood at approximately 8,500 as the board read A32.

Both the player in the big blind and Benjamin Spragg on the button checked the hand down as the turn and river fell the 7 and 6 respectively.

The big blind checked again, prompting Spragg to bet out for 5,500 to which his opponent made a quick call.

Big Blind: 55

Spragg's jack-high flush was way out in front of the five-high flush of his opponent.

Hasson Keeps It Steady, Frank Short, Kihara Gone

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Ori Hasson opened to 3,500 from early position and Andrew Sayegh called from the cutoff. The flop was 88Q and Hasson put out a continuation-bet of 4,000 and saw another call from Sayegh.

The turn then was dealt out the 6 and Hasson fired a big bet of 17,500. This time, it was enough to let Sayegh lay his hand down.

Meanwhile Ashley Frank was sitting at this table playing with her final four T-5,000 chips, and Naoya Kihara was seen leaving the tournament area after busting from another table.

Steinman Calls the Flop Exactly

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Ian Steinman raised to 4,000 from early position as action folded around to the small blind who called, as did big blind Martin Finger.

"It's going to come eight-three-three for sure," Steinman said heading to the flop, which came 338. "That's weird," he added.

"How did you do that? Can you call for me to get four aces next time," another tablemate said as Steinman fired out another bet of 5,000 which was enough to win the pot.

Shota Nakanishi at the same table is having the time of his life, constantly laughing and joking with his tablemates. While this hand was taking place he flashed a big smile and flexed his muscles over his massive chip stack as he has one of the biggest in this section.

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player open-shoved in the cutoff for a remaining stack around 25,000 and Christian Munk quickly made the call on the button. The blinds folded and they tabled their cards:

Cutoff: 33
Christian Munk: AA

The board didn't give any miracle to the player at risk with 584K7 and Munk took down the pot.

Goltz Gets Paid in Full

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Shem Goltz
Shem Goltz

With some 71,000 in the middle to the JJ3103 river, the player in the big blind bet 50,000 with as many chips behind. Shem Goltz in the cutoff then pushed all-in and his opponent was seemingly struck. It took some 30 seconds for the big blind to call with AJ for jacks full of treys but Goltz had that beat with the J10.

"I was afraid of that ... I almost folded," the defeated opponent said while another player chimed in with "it is a cursed seat", indicating that several players had already been eliminated from there.

They walked through the hand for several minutes and Wesley Fei concluded that a check-call would have been better and it was overplayed.

Miholich Won't Make an All In Until You Order it

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

After the button raised to 3,000, Kyle Miholich, his trademark Jack in the Box clown head perched on his head, asked the dealer, "At this stage in the tournament, what is the maximum bet?"

With a knowing smile on her face the dealer replied, "All in?" and Miholich placed the remaining 20,500 of his dwindling stack in the middle. But it was still too much to eat for the button, and he tossed his cards away.

Daniel Rezaei
Daniel Rezaei

Julien Martini raised to 3,500 and found a call with Daniel Rezaei in the big blind.

The flop brought 10A7 and after a check from Rezaei, Martini made a small bet of 1,500. Rezaei replied with a raise to 7,000 and Martini called.

The turn was the Q and Rezaei thought about his move and bet 12,000. Martini called once again.

Both checked on the 9 river. Rezaei tabled QJ but Martini revealed AJ for top pair and grabbed the pot.

Taylor Gets it in Good

Livello 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player from early position opened to 3,500 before Guy Taylor moved all in for his last 32,000 from middle position. Nishant Sharma made the call on the button and the original raiser called as well.

The flop came 7AQ. The original raiser checked and Sharma made it 20,000, receiving a call from his opponent.

On the 10 turn action checked to Sharma who bet 53,000, forcing a fold from the original raiser and leaving Sharma heads up against Taylor who was at risk.

Guy Taylor: AK
Nishant Sharma: AQ

Despite having the best hand preflop, Sharma had flopped two pair leaving Taylor drawing thin. The river improved neither player and Taylor was sent to the rail while Sharma scooped in a sizable pot.
