Denick Shows One

Action was picked up on the flop with the board reading A38. A player in the big blind checked and Andrew Denick bet 2,100, receiving a call from his opponent.

Both players checked the 3 turn leading to the J river. The big blind checked and Denick fired a second barrel, this time for 3,200. The big blind thought for about a minute before making the fold.

Denick flashed the A for top pair before scooping an early pot.

Stival Raises the Turn on Devidal

Livello 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Theo Devidal raised to 1,700 from middle position and Cristian Stival called in the hijack.

The flop came 694 and Devidal continued for 3,400. Stival called to see the 5 turn, where Devidal bet another 7,000.

Stival paused for a moment before coming back with a raise to 18,000. Devidal, sitting with a large yellow ball in front of his stack, quickly mucked as Stival collected an early pot.

Demlakian Fights for the First Pot of the Day

Livello 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Vasken Ken Demlakian raised from early position to 1,700 finding three callers; Leon Sturm to his direct left and both the blinds, including Joaquin Beretta in the big blind.

The board came A710 and once checked to, Demlakian continued for 3,600. Only Beretta called.

The turned 9 checked through to the K on the river. Beretta took the lead for 9,300. Demlakian thought on his decision before raising to 28,500, forcing a fold from his opponent and winning this pot without a showdown.

Ferraro Speeding Up

Action was picked up on the river in a massive pot between Kenta Fukuhara in the hijack and Cole Ferraro in late position.

With 61,200 in the middle and a board reading A4527, Ferraro bet 5,000 which saw Fukuhara raise to 11,000.

Ferraro rechecked his hand before tossing in the chip to call and Fukuhara turned over A7 for top two. It was rendered second best as Ferraro turned over 44 for a set of fours and the young bracelet winner took down the pot.

Gagnon Finds Value with Top Pair

Samuel Gagnon raised it up from middle position and was called by Brandt Atkins on his left along with the big blind. The flop fell J106 and Gagnon continued with a bet of 2,000. Atkins raised to 4,600 which got the big blind out but Gagnon still called.

The turn was the 8 and both players checked to the 4 on the river. Gagnon put together a bet of 17,000 on the river and Atkins flicked in a chip to call. Gagnon rolled over AJ for top pair and Atkins mucked his cards.

In a heads-up pot with close to 6,000 in the middle on a flop showing KQ10, a player in early position bet out 3,000 and Johnny Chan made the call on the button.

The turn came the 2 and the early position player bet again, this time for 4,000. Chan took a few seconds before announcing a raise to 10,000. His opponent pondered their option for a moment, but in the end folded and the pot was sent to Chan.

Asselin Takes A Four-Bet Pot

Livello 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Samuel Asselin opened from early position to 1,600, then Corey Brass in middle position three-bet to 4,000. Action went back to Asselin, who decided to four-bet to 10,600. Brass thought about it for a few seconds and called.

On the K72 flop, Asselin continued with a bet of 12,500. Brass folded and Asselin took down the pot.

Ho Bluffs Some Off Early

Mark Teltscher raised from the cutoff before Hai-Chi Ho made it 6,800 to go from the small blind. Only Teltscher called and the two went off to a flop.

The 969 flop checked through before Ho bet out 7,000 on the 7 turn. Teltscher called and the 5 river completed the board.

Ho checked again and Teltscher opted to bet 12,000 chips. Ho raised it up to 36,000 and Teltscher swiftly called.

Ho could only show ace-high with his AK, while Teltscher was sitting pretty on the flush with AQ. Ho lost some of his big stack early on while Teltscher chipped up nicely.

Three Barrels do the Job for Reyes

Chin Wei Lim defended out of the big blind against Jaime Reyes and check-called a first bet on the K87 flop. He then did so again for 4,500 on the turn and checked the Q on the river. Reyes made it 7,000 to go and took down the pot without resistance.
