Michael Latuf opened to 2,600 from under the gun and was called in two spots, including Barbara Sargent in middle position. Pedro Marques was one of the short stacks in the big blind and jammed all in for 17,400. Latuf called and Sargent reshoved all in as the big stack. Latuf thought for a minute but eventually decided to lay his hand down.
Pedro Marques: A♠A♥
Barbara Sargent: A♦K♠
"I folded the same hand," Latuf said to Sargent. As was the case, the board ran out 9♠8♣7♠Q♣4♦ and Marques tripled up with hardly any sweat at all.

Two players remained in the pot as the full board read 8♣6♦9♦4♠K♠.
The action was on Sung Lee in middle position who bet out for 40,000 into a pot of 34,500, which sent her opponent deep into the tank.
Lee's opponent contemplated for nearly four minutes before finally tossing their cards into the muck allowing Lee to claim this pot.

It folded to Jay Romano in the cutoff who raised to 3,000 before Jiachen Gong decided to shoved on the button for his last 13,500. It came back to Romano who tanked for a minute and made the call:
Jiachen Gong: 4♣4♠
Jay Romano: 7♦4♦
Gong had the best hand and found no bad surprise on the board J♥J♦9♠Q♦6♥ to take the needed double up.

As recounted to PokerNews from the other players at the table, Artur Martirosyan was recently eliminated from the main event.
Martirosyan had gotten into a preflop all in confrontation against Brian Yoon holding QxQx against Yoon's AxQx. The board ran out AxJx10x4xAx giving Yoon trip aces to send Martirosyan to the rail and accumulate his chips.

The action was picked up in a pot of over 140,000 on a board that read Q♥8♥4♣9♠. A player in the hijack checked to Allen Nielson on the button who bet 65,000 and his opponent moved all in for roughly 96,000. Nielson quickly made the call to put his opponent at risk.
"Do you have queens," asked the hijack before the cards were turned over.
"Yep," replied Nielson
There was a bit of confusion before the cards were finally tabled because the hijack assumed that Neilson had pocket queens.
Hijack: K♦K♠
Allen Nielson: A♥Q♣
The hijack was so relieved to see his cowboys were way out front, however, the river fell like a ton of bricks when the Q♠ rolled off to give Nielson trips and send his opponent to the exit in brutal fashion.
Nielson scooped the massive pot to bring his stack well over the half a million mark.

Ignas Jasinevicius and an opponent in early position built a pot of around 30,000 heading to the turn on a board of 5♠5♥6♣4♣. Jasinevicius, on the button, bet 17,000 and his opponent called.
The river came the 5♣ and action checked to Jasinevicius again, who now checked back. His opponent showed 9♣8♣ for the rivered flush, but Jasinevicius turned over Q♣Q♥, making a full house on the same river card to take down the big pot.
