Zoughari Gets Some Extra Chips

Kevin O'Donnell, Moundir Zoughari, and a third player all put in 3,500 preflop and a flop of J♣Q♦3♦ was spread.

O'Donnell checked from under the gun before the other player checked from middle position. Zoughari then bet 6,500 chips and O'Donnell folded.

The player in middle position then called, but only put in 1,600 chips.

"Sixty-five hundred," the dealer clarified.

"Oh sh*t," the player responded. "Never mind, just take it," he said as he gave the 1,600 chips to Zoughari and mucked his cards.

"I should wear my glasses," he concluded while Zoughari added some more chips to his stack.

"Not This Time" Says Martini

Action caught up on the river in a hand between Julien Martini in middle position and a player in early position, with the early position player checking to Martini on a board reading 8♦6♠9♦9♥5♣, and Martini firing a bet of 28,000.

Martini's opponent asked if he would "show this time?" And with a stone response from Martini, his opponent ended up making the fold.

"Show one," asked his opponent.

"Not this time," responded Martini. "But I had it," Martini added.

Action was caught when Edouard Mignot from early position bet 2,200 on 9♠6♥A♦. In the cutoff, Heidi Heimarck raised to 5,000 and was called by Anthony March on the button. But in the small blind, Vitor Dzivielevski went all in for 23,800 chips.

Mignot quickly got out of this trap, but Heimarck seemed to have a decision. After some time, she called. Action went back to March, he moved all in too for 31,600 chips. With all that money in the pot and not much to add, Heimarck called.

With two pairs on the flop, Dzivielevski was in the lead, but he had to avoid a lot of cards to win the pot, as March had a straight draw and Heimarck a pair of aces.

After the turn 2♣ and the river 7♣, Dzivielevski's hand stayed ahead, and he tripled up. Heimarck took the side pot, and March has been eliminated.

Steinberg put out a bet and Fast check-raised, which quickly got a fold.

One hand later, Fast and Brian Kim were battling over 3,500 chips on a flop of 2♥10♦K♠. Fast checked from the hijack and Kim put out 1,500 chips. Fast check-raised again, this time to 6,500.

Kim made the call before the two players checked down on the 7♠J♣ runout.

Fast tabled A♥K♠ and his top pair was good enough to rake in his second consecutive pot.

From middle position, Dennis Wiley placed a single 1,000 chip in front of him but didn't say "raise", so his bet was considered a limp. Robert Lofaso in the cutoff limped after him, as well as Alan Goasdoue on the button. The big blind checked.

Everybody checked on the flop K♥5♠A♦. Then on the turn 4♠, Lofaso bet 1,300. He was called by Goasdoue and Wiley.

The river brought the A♣, and all three players checked. Wiley thought he had the win with 10♥10♦. But it was Lofaso who took the pot as he had A♠6♣ for a set of aces.
