The details of the hand were related to PokerNews by a player at the table. Fabrice Bigot opened to 90,000 from the cutoff and then called after Bruno Volkmann moved all in for his last 170,000 on the button.

Baldwin Doubles Through Kotelnikov

Livello 22 : Blinds 15,000/3,000, 30,000 ante

Eric Baldwin moved almost his entire stack into the middle from under the gun, leaving himself 5,000 behind. Andrey Kotelnikov called what he thought was an all in out of the big blind but quickly realized Baldwin did have a single chip behind.

Kotelnikov checked on the 10A4 flop and then called after Baldwin tossed his 5,000 into the pot.

Eric Baldwin: AQ
Andrey Kotelnikov: K8

Baldwin had flopped top pair to leave himself in about as good a spot as you can be to secure the double. The 9 turn quickly ended things to secure the pot for Baldwin prior to the Q river.

Jattin Continues to Apply Pressure

Livello 22 : Blinds 15,000/3,000, 30,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Farid Jattin in the small blind was involved in a hand with Kubanychbek Abakirov in the big blind. With the board reading K485 Jattin checked and Abakirov bet 360,000.

Jattin thought for a moment before raising enough to force his opponent all in. Abakirov went deep into the tank as he considered a call for his tournament life. Eventually he decided Jattin's pressure was too great and folded to put a dent in his chip stack.
