Felipe Ramos

Felipe Ramos opened to 125,000 on the button only to see Farid Jattin three-bet to 420,000 out of the small blind. Ramos responded by moving all in and Jattin snapped it off with the covering stack to put Ramos at risk.

Felipe Ramos: 99
Farid Jattin: AQ

Ramos would need to win a flip to survive but could not hold on the 36Q27 runout to send him to the rail in 13th place.

Hellmuth Spikes River to Double Through Jattin

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth was all in for 920,000 from the big blind against Farid Jattin, who was on the button.

Phil Hellmuth: 88
Farid Jattin: AA

Hellmuth found himself in rough shape against Jattin's aces, but the 7910 gave Hellmuth an open-ended straight draw to go along with his pair of eights.

The 2 turn changed nothing, but the 6 river drilled Hellmuth's straight draw and he scored the double up.

"Yes! Now we get to play some f***ing poker!" Hellmuth cheered in celebration.

Chidwick Takes From Liberto

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Justin Liberto opened to 120,000 from under the gun and Stephen Chidwick defended in the big blind.

Chidwick checked to the preflop aggressor following the 5A6 flop and then called after Liberto continued for 85,000.

The board pairing A turn saw Chidwick check for a second time. Liberto, undeterred by the call on the flop, fired another barrel of 90,000. Once more, Chidwick called.

Chidwick checked one last time once the K rolled off the deck on the river, prompting Liberto to bet 120,000. After some thought Chidwick called holding A4 to take down the pot.

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On the latest PokerNews Podcast episode, Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen continue The Chad & Jesse Poker Show straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

Arieh talked about the WSOP back in the late 1990s, his career resurgence, Poker Stake, and shares a fun story involving Ted Forrest and the late Layne Flack.

The other guest is 2004 WSOP Main Event runner-up David Williams, who was fresh of winning a Flip & Go. He talks about his history in that event, how his WSOP gold bracelet and diamond toothpick were stolen in a home robbery, and why he wouldn’t do Master Chef again.

Chad and Jesse then do a new "Calling the Clock" segment in which they offer quick two-minute dialogues for topics on “The Board.”

Frank Lagodich moved all in for his last 440,000 on the button and was looked up by AJ Kelsall in the big blind.

Frank Lagodich: K8
