The Chad & Jesse Poker Show - Poker Vlogger Ryan Depaulo is Latest Guest

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On the latest episode, Jesse Fullen and special co-host Norman Chad continue The Chad & Jesse Poker Show straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

The two start by debating the pros and cons of the 2023 WSOP Main Event payouts before welcoming this week’s guest – poker vlogger Ryan Depaulo.

Among the topics they discuss with the Whole Foods parking lot bracelet winner are his biggest score to date (third place in the Colossus), what his father told him (“Don’t punt”), and Joey the Mush. Plus, they ask if he was banned from Borgata for vlogging, his main poker influence, and whether or not he’s a withered pro.

Norman Chad and Jesse then do a new "Calling the Clock" segment in which they offer quick two-minute dialogues for topics on “The Board.”

Matthew Parry raised to 125,000 from under the gun and the short-stacked George Abi-Zeid defended his big blind after weighing his options for a while.

The flop was spread 62K and Abi-Zeid checked. Parry then inquired about his opponent's stack and made a bet of 200,000, enough to put Abi-Zeid all-in. Abi-Zeid made the call and the players showed down.

George Abi-Zeid: 8875
Matthew Parry: AKJ4

Parry had the lead with his pair of kings, but Abi-Zeid turned some outs on the 9 turn. However, the J river was not one of them, and Abi-Zeid said his goodbyes to the table.

On a completed board reading 63K2A with close to a million chips in the pot, Dustin Goldklang checked over to Joshua Stefansky who bet out 675,000.

Goldklang paused before he announced a pot-sized raise that would cover Stefansky's remaining stack by only 100,000.

Stefansky entered the tank and spent a good four to five minutes there before he eventually decided to put in calling chips to see Goldklang turn over the KQ84 for the nuts.

Stefansky showed the Q9 from his hand, having busted second nuts to nuts and being sent home in 18th place for $20,000.

Abi-Zeid Put to the Test Twice

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

What began as a four-way pot was down to two after George Abi-Zeid bet 150,000 on the 7A8 flop and Matthew Parry called.

Abi-Zeid then checked the 5 turn and called once Parry fired 275,000. Another check from Abi-Zeid followed on the K river, with Parry betting enough to put his opponent all in.

Abi-Zeid took some time before making the fold, but was facing the same spot in the very next hand.

Abi-Zeid and Dimitrios Michailidis were heads-up on the 5J5 flop, with Abi-Zeid leading out for 240,000. Michailidis asked how much Abi-Zeid had behind, learning that the remaining stack was 290,000.

Michailidis put in a raise to 480,000, with Abi-Zeid laying his hand down again while being left short-stacked.
