All Eyes On The Main Event

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

While the players of the $600 Ultra Stack are focused on their tournament, they keep an eye on the streaming of the Main Event, displayed on the screens in the room.

And depending on the action, everybody reacts. For example, a roar of "Ohhhhhhs" rumbled throughout the room when Ryan Brown hit a straight on the river and tripled up.

Then the whole room booed to support Sasha Guerin, who was in the room and saw himself being eliminated.

A few minutes later, another "Ohhhhh" came out from the field when Chance Kornuth was kicked out with AK against Nicholas Rigby's aces.

And when players of the $600 Ultra Stack are not involved in a pot, they look up at the screens to watch the Main Event.

Muccini Doubles With Aces

Livello 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action caught up on the turn in a hand between Davide Muccini of Italy in early position and a player in late position, with Muccini betting 55,000 on a board reading 5K24, and the late position player making the call.

Muccini would then commit a remaining stack of 73,500 on the 10 river, which sent the late position player into the tank.

After a few moments of deliberation, the late position player put in the call and the cards were on their backs.

Davide Muccini: AA
Late Position Player: 75

Muccini had the goods, as the two black aces would best the pair of fives of the player in late position, securing Muccini the double.

Top Pair For Beckenstein

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After an open to 5,000 by a player in middle position, Josh Beckenstein in the small blind was the only one to call.

On J56, he check-called a continuation bet of 5,000. Then on the turn 6, both players checked.

The Q came on the river, and Beckenstein took the lead, betting 9,000. After a few seconds, his opponent called and Beckenstein revealed KJ for the best pair. It was the winning hand, as the middle position mucked his cards.

MacMillan Busts Watson

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Mitchell Watson announced that "This is the table to watch" and proceeded to raise to 15,000 from early position. Travis MacMillan, who was the big stack at the table declared all in and action folded back to Watson.

"I have to call now", said Watson, and stayed true to his word.

Mitchell Watson: Q6
Travis MacMillan: AK

The flop came 758 giving Watson an up-and-down straight draw. But a K on the turn paired MacMillan and made a Q on the river redundant.

None of it seemed to faze Watson, who was all smiles as he thanked the table for a good game. MacMillan, who ran deep in the Lucky 7's yesterday, is already building an impressive stack.

Idan The One's Luck Seems to be Turning Around

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Currently remembered for running aces into kings twice against the same opponent to bust on Day 1 of the main, Idan The One reshoved all-in against an already all-in player in early position.

Idan The One: A10
Early Position Player: K9

"It's a fair fight," said Idan after the cards were turned over, but that tune would change to, "Okay, that's a nice flop" after the dealer rolled out the 6AA board.

However, the cooler window would open slightly on the 8 turn, giving the early position player a flush draw, but slam shut on the 2 river, giving Idan the full double.
