Anthony Marsico raised to 300,000and earned a call from Danny Hannawa out of the big blind. They headed to the Q♥J♦8♦ flop on which Hannawa led for 450,000 and Marsico called.
After the K♦ turn, Hannawa checked and then folded when Marsico bet 900,000.
Anton Morgenstern only had a few big blinds left after the dinner break, and they went in on the very first hand. He open-jammed for 375,000 from under the gun and Pakinai Lisawad rejammed from the hijack for 1,020,000.
Chip leader Tyler Smith was in the small blind and four-bet pot, putting the remaining player Adam Hendrix in the big blind also at risk if he would make the call. However, a four-way all-in was averted as Hendrix folded his hands after utilizing sever time bank extensions. Thus, the three other players showed down.

Morgenstern had the aces but immideately got outflopped by Smith on 9♣4♦3♥. The two pair of Smith remained strong on the 6♠ turn, but the 10♠ river brought Lisawad a higher two pair.
Lisawad ended up taking the entire pot down and more than doubled up. Meanwhile, Morgenstern was eliminated as the last player before the final two table redraw.
The action was caught on a flop of 6♣6♠3♣. Chip leader Tyler Smith was in the big blind and check-called a 250,000 bet from Anton Morgenstern in the hijack. The 10♣ turn then went check-check before the 3♥ river arrived.
Smith now bet out 900,000, and sent Morgenstern into the tank. While the players around them left for their dinner break, Morgenstern eventually put in the calling chips.
Smith showed K♣Q♣J♣8♣ for a total of seven clubs, of which five counted towards his flush. Morgenstern had nothing better and mucked his cards, leaving himself with three big blinds to play with after dinner.
Eelis Pärssinen raised to 350,000 in the cutoff and Ky Nguyen called all-in for 275,000 out of the small blind in the last hand before the dinner break.

The A♠7♠7♦ flop left Nguyen on the ropes and he was drawing dead on the 4♥ turn. Pärssinen ended up with a wheel on the 3♦ river and Nguyen headed to the payout desk to collect $103,093.
Matthew Wantman won three pots right before dinner break thanks to big bets that forced out his opponent.
In the first, five players went to the 9♠6♦6♣ flop and checked to Wantman on the button who bet 280,000. Jesse Lonis raised to 625,000 in the small blind and the rest of the table got out of the way, but Wantman stuck around with a call.
Lonis slowed down and checked the 3♠ turn and Wantman took the pot with a bet of 550,000.
Kabeelan Rajamurthy then raised to 400,000 from under the gun before Wantman potted to 1,050,000. Rajamurthy called to see the Q♦4♥3♣ flop, where he check-folded to a bet of 1,700,000.
Finally, Wantman took some more off Lonis after he limped in from under the gun, then called when Lonis made it 450,000. Both players checked to the river on a board of 6♣7♣3♥J♠2♠ and Lonis quickly surrendered when Wantman bet 660,000.
Isaac Haxton and Kabeelan Rajamurthy had reached a heads-up flop of 2♥5♦2♦. Haxton was sitting in the big blind and led out for 250,000 chips. Rajumurthy then jammed all in for 860,000.
"I don't have a super great hand, but," Haxton began while putting in some calling chips to put the Malaysian at risk.

"I have some outs," he continued after seeing Rajamurthy's hand. However, the nines remained absent on the K♣J♣ runout, and Rajamurthy booked a nice double-up while his opponent complimented his hand.
