Noah Schwartz Eliminated in 24th Place ($90,206)

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Noah Schwartz
Noah Schwartz

All tables were to finish their current hands after the elimination of Kilian Loeffler and that brought another all-in and call with Noah Schwartz at risk against Elias Harala after he had potted off a short stack and Harala raised.

Noah Schwartz: KJJ9
Elias Harala: AQ1010

"That's a fair fight," they said at the table but Schwartz instantly said "not so fair anymore" on the 1098 flop when Harala made top set. Schwartz had outs to a straight but was left drawing dead on the 10 turn to make the 3 river a formality.

Loeffler's Light Extinguished by Park

Livello 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Kilian Loeffler was all in for 480,000 and up against James Park.

Kilian Loeffler: AQJ4
James Park: KK107

Loeffler needed to improve against Park's kings but found no help on the J7955 board.

"See you in Korea," the affable Loeffler told his now-former tablemates on his way to the rail.

"He was a lot of fun to play with. I'm looking forward to that trip. It's a non-wives trip," tablemate Aaron Katz said after Loeffler departed.

Collopy Can No Longer Win

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jim Collopy
Jim Collopy

Jim Collopy open-raised to 280,000 and Jesse Lonis made the call. On a flop of 374, Collopy committed the rest of his 300,000 or so chips and Lonis looked him up.

Jim Collopy: AKQ6
Jesse Lonis: A1085

Collopy was somehow still ahead with his ace-king high, and would remain so when both players paired on the A turn. The 5 river gave only Lonis two pair, however, and it cemented Collopy's fate as the latest exit.

Schwartz Doubles "For the Fans"

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jim Collopy raised to 240,000 in the cutoff and the action folded to Noah Schwartz in the big blind. Having paid the big blind ante, he only had 375,000 behind.

"That's what, only four or five blinds?" he uttered while staring at the screens before then adding "write this one down for the fans ... and my backers" before moving all-in, Collopy snap-called.

Noah Schwartz: K10103
Jim Collopy: AK54

The board ran out 94276 and Schwartz doubled.

Marsico Takes Out Two on Consecutive Hands

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Anthony Marsico
Anthony Marsico

Anthony Marsico bet 100,000 from the small blind on a flop of 885 before big blind Gergo Nagy potted to 580,000, committing most of his stack. Marsico put him all in and Nagy called off his last chips.

Gergo Nagy: 9974
Anthony Marsico: JJ84

Marsico had flopped trip eights and stayed in front on the Q turn and 7 river to send Nagy to the rail.

Marsico was still stacking his chips from that pot when Tyler Brown raised to 250,000 the next hand. Marsico potted on the button to 800,000 and Brown called all in for less.

Tyler Brown: KQQ2
Anthony Marsico: AA108

Marsico had woken up with aces and Brown couldn't improve on the 7510J6 board as he joined Nagy at the payout desk.

Lee Next To Fall

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Chris Lee
Chris Lee

Anton Morgenstern open-raised from under the gun and Chris Lee three-bet all in for 880,000 from the hijack. Morgenstern made the call, covering Lee by a small margin.

Chris Lee: AAJ4
Anton Morgenstern: KK88

Lee had the best hand, but Morgenstern would flop a flush on 573. No backdoor full house possibility for Lee on the 2 turn, and the Q river was dealt only as a formality.

Post Bubble Pot for Yankov

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Krasimir Yankov limped from under the gun and was followed by Pakinai Lisawad on the button and Kilian Loeffler in the small blind. Aaron Katz checked out of the big blind and the four players headed to the A85 flop. It checked to Yankov and his bet of 180,000 won the pot without resistance.

Morgenstern Dodges Everything to Double

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Anton Morgenstern raised to 220,000 in the cutoff, then called off his last 540,000 when Noah Schwartz shoved from the blinds.

Anton Morgenstern: AKQJ
Noah Schwartz: AJ107

"I'm completely dead. I need a seven," Schwartz said heading to the 942 flop, which gave him the nut flush draw.

Both players paired the ace on the A turn, but Morgenstern's king-kicker played following the 5 river as he survived.

"I should've just called. I could've jammed the flop," Schwartz lamented.

Soverel First Casualty in the Money

Livello 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Sam Soverel
Sam Soverel

Jesse Lonis had raised preflop and Sam Soverel was the only opponent remaining on the button on a A102 flop, on which Lonis asked for the size of the pot and bet 475,000. Soverel called and the 5 fell on the turn.

Lonis now bet the full pot for 1,650,000 and Soverel had 1,795,000 behind. After investing two time banks, Soverel moved all-in and Lonis called with both players verbally announcing their hands already before flipping them over.

Sam Soverel: A654
Jesse Lonis: AJ107

Lonis was ahead with the top two pair while Soverel had inferior two pair with a wheel draw and the nut flush draw. The 7 river was a blank and Soverel became the first casualty in the money.
