Paul Dhaliwal raised 2,000 from the button and small blind Lance Jones made the call.
Each player patted, and then Dhaliwal continued for 5,000 more. When Jones called Dhaliwal announced jack, and Jones took the pot with a ten.

With 453 entries and counting, and one level of late registration remaining, this event has eclipsed last year's mark of 437.
After losing a decent portion of his stack, Allen Kessler was able to win some of it back in a three-way pot. A player opened to 2,000 from middle position and was called by Allen Kessler on the button as well as a player in the big blind.
The big blind took two, Kessler one and the original raiser stood pat after which action checked to Kessler. He tossed out a bet of 4,000, getting a quick fold from the big blind. The middle position player thought for a little longer but also ended up mucking their holding to send a modest pot to Kessler.

After Michael Lang had raised from under the gun, Adam Friedman moved all in for his remaining 21,900, and Lang called, leaving only 3,500 behind.
Lang patted, and Friedman had a very tough decision to make. He began shuffling his five cards, muttering oaths to himself, and audibly saying, "This is so sick."
His difficult decision was not made easier by the needling of Allen Kessler. "He's either going to pat, draw one, or draw two," he said, which drew an expletive from Friedman.
"Tough decision," continued Kessler.
"It's not that tough. I still have three reentries," chided Friedman.
He elected to draw one. When the cards were exposed Lang had 9x8x7x6x3x, and Friedman revealed he had hit one of his outs, with a 9x8x4x3x2x to rebuild his stack.

The details of the hand were related to PokerNews by players at the table. A player opened to 2,500 from under the gun and was called by Sami Bechahed in early position as well as a player in middle position. Action then folded around to Shaun Deeb in the small blind who moved all in for 22,000. The original raiser made the call before Bechahed re-jammed, forcing a fold from the middle position player while the under the gun player called off for their remaining chips.
Deeb and Bechahed stood pat with the under the gun player taking one after which Deeb tabled Jx10x9x8x4x. He was cut down, however, by the 7x6x4x3x2x of Bechahed while the under the gun player was also dead holding 6x5x3x2x. That handed Bechahed the double knockout and a massive pot to send his stack shooting north of the 100,000 mark.

Players have been sent on another 15-minute break. They will return to blinds of 400/800 with a 1,200 ante.
The cutoff raise to 1,600, Taylor Paur called from the button, and the big blind called.
The big blind took one card, the cutoff two, and Paur one. It was checked to Paur who checked out the big blind's stack and then bet 8,000, enough to put the short stack all in. The cutoff folded, and the big blind tanked for two minutes before putting all his chips at risk.
Paur unveiled 9x8x7x6x4x, and the big blind tossed his cards face down, and began collecting his belongings.
