Friedman Wills Himself to a Double
After Michael Lang had raised from under the gun, Adam Friedman moved all in for his remaining 21,900, and Lang called, leaving only 3,500 behind.
Lang patted, and Friedman had a very tough decision to make. He began shuffling his five cards, muttering oaths to himself, and audibly saying, "This is so sick."
His difficult decision was not made easier by the needling of Allen Kessler. "He's either going to pat, draw one, or draw two," he said, which drew an expletive from Friedman.
"Tough decision," continued Kessler.
"It's not that tough. I still have three reentries," chided Friedman.
He elected to draw one. When the cards were exposed Lang had 9x8x7x6x3x, and Friedman revealed he had hit one of his outs, with a 9x8x4x3x2x to rebuild his stack.
