The flop of 5♦10♥Q♠ checked through to the 3♥ on the turn. Ap Garza, from the small blind, managed to whittle the players in the hand to just Chan and the cards were on their backs.

Bunal Doubles Through Lau

Ka Kwan Lau opened preflop action by raising to 140,000 under the gun. Florencio Bunal, in middle position, then announced he was betting the pot, which the dealer counted out as 495,000. Lau made the call.

Helppi Helps Himself to a Double

Juha Helppi had joked with Bogdan Capitan when the Romanian came over to confirm his double-up and the Finn followed suit soon after.

"I will win this thing," Helppi replied before Capitan walked back to his seat.

Around two minutes later, Helppi was all-in with a stack of fewer than ten big blinds and tabled the K♠9♥6♣5♣. He was up against the A♣K♦K♥2♠ of Peng Shan and got there thanks to the 8♣7♥2♣6♠A♥ runout.

The flop came 8♦6♥A♠, and both players checked. Bunal also checked the Q♠ turn before calling a bet of 160,000 from Hendrix.

Bunal checked in the dark before the 7♦ river arrived. Hendrix put out a bet of 560,000, and Bunal went into the tank.

Bunal considered his options for a couple of minutes. He decided to show Q♦9♣7♣6♦ as he folded.

"I would have called," said another player at the table.

"It's a 10k, he's not bluffing," laughed Bunal.

The J♣ slowed down Danchev as he check-called a bet of 250,000 from Ziegelbecker.

The A♦ on the river saw a repeat of the action, this time Ziegelbecker jammed all in for 930,000. Danchev went into the tank before finally deciding to fold.
