Huge Pot for Nguyen

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Tracy Nguyen raised under the gun to 60,000, Barak Wisbrod in the hijack called as did the player on the button.

The flop came 673 and Nguyen continued for 60,000. Only Wisbrod called.

The turn came the J and Nguyen didn't slow down as she bet 85,000. Again, Wisbrod didn't go anywhere.

The river fell the 5 and Nguyen checked the action to Wisbrod. After some time, Wisbrod, the covering stack, shoved all in putting Nguyen to the test for her last 910,000. Nguyen thought for a considerable amount of time before finally flicking in the call.

Tracy Nguyen: 1010
Barak Wisbrod: A7

With Wisbrod turning his second pair into a bluff on the river, Nguen's hero call sends her well over the 2,000,000 mark.

Hellmuth Tries Some Speech Play

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

There was an open from John Pannucci in middle position and action folded to Phil Hellmuth in the small blind who three-bet to 130,000. "I'll take this one, you take the next one." Hellmuth said as he made the attempt at drawing a fold. Pannucci sat in the tank for a moment before putting in the warm four bet to 340,000.

"Where are you from?" Hellmuth asked as he attempted to summon some white magic. Pannucci stayed quiet.

"You know, a lot of these GTO players like to jam ace-five suited." Hellmuth said as he looked at Pannucci. "Okay, you win this one," as he tossed his cards into the muck.

Pannucci dragged a nice pot without having to see a flop.

Berkey Pushes Aido Out of the Pot

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With Sergio Aido in the hijack and Matt Berkey in the big blind, both players were looking at a board of 982.

The action was checked to Aido and he bet out 30,000. Berkey called.

The turned 8 checked through to the 3 on the river. Berkey, now with an opportunity to take the lead, bet enough chips to put Aido all in for his last 290,000, to which Aido folded.

Berkey Gets Chips but Not the Bounty

Livello 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Matt Berkey
Matt Berkey

A few players folded and Matt Berkey opened in middle position to 45,000. Lander Lijo was next to act and raised to 245,000 with just one big blind back. Without much thought Mark Hammond then jammed having Berkey covered. Everyone else folded and with action back on Berkey he wasted no time before going all-in himself.

Lijo now had a decision to muck his hand with all the strong action around him or stick in the chips and hope for some luck. He decided on the latter.

The three players' cards hit their backs.

Lander Lijo: 77
Matt Berkey: QQ
Mark Hammond: AK

The flop looked clean for Berkey with 1034. No sweat on the board pairing 3 but the 7 river drilled the set for Lijo. Berkey would still win a big side pot to chip up but no bounty in this hand.
