Sotiropoulos Finds Fold

Livello 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Georgios Sotiropoulos limped from middle position before the player on the button made it 145,000 to go. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Sotiropoulos, who made the call to see a flop.

Sotiropoulos checked following the 546 flop and then called after his opponent continued for 125,000.

Action checked through the 8 turn to the Q river at which point Sotiropoulos checked once more. The button pushed a stack of chips totaling 280,000 into the pot and, after some thought, Sotiropoulos decided to find a better spot, mucking his holding.

Lee Sends Kogel to the Rail

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Stanley Lee
Stanley Lee

PokerNews caught up with Stanley Lee who gave us the breakdown of a huge pot early in Day 2.

Lee opened the action from middle position to 90,000 and Nathanael Kogel put in the cold three-bet out of the blinds to 330,000.

Lee called and they were off to a Ax10x4x flop. Kogel continued for 220,000 and Lee called once again.

The 3x hit the turn and Kogel took his time before jamming for just over 1,000,000 chips. Lee snap called and the cards were on their backs.

Lee had Kogel drawing dead holding a set of tens and Kogel showed Ax7x for just top pair. The river was irrelevant and Kogel hit the rail.

Is this Gray's "One Time"?

Livello 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

A player in middle position raised the hand to 90,000. Joel Gray in the hijack responded with a three-bet jam to 485,000. The player in the big blind was already all in for their remaining 45,000, putting the original raiser to a decision for a potential double bounty. With an easy snap-call, all three hands were on their backs.

Big Blind: 96
Joel Gray: 77
Middle Position: AK

As the flop came 5K3 seemingly sealing the conclusion of this hand, the turn peeled the Q and the river came the 7, one of the two outs Gray needed to win this hand.

"There we go! The river one time!" Gray yelled as he returned to his seat.

Rotman's Bounty Hunting

Livello 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Omer Rotman in early position raised to 80,000 which found the cutoff who decided to three-bet to 160,000.

Rotman calls and both players see a flop of K103. Playing in flow, the action checked to the cutoff who continued for 160,000 again. Rotman then chose to check-raise to 775,000, putting his opponent's tournament life on the line for a bounty. After some time in the tank the cutoff folded.

Rotman gladly flashed his hand to PokerNews to reveal K3 before the dealer flipped it for the rest of the table to see.
