The flop came A62 and Chow, first to act, put in the remainder of his short stack. Williams and Leyo both called.

Michael Chow: 6432
Pascal Leyo: A1075
Williams: XxXxXxXx

The final board ran out A6244 giving Chow a full house and a sixty-four low. Enough to beat both Leyo and Williams out of the high and the low.

Bubble Action Underway

Livello 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Several players have dropped into the danger zone including Yuri Dzivielevski, while Johannes Becker leaped into the lead with two scoops on his table.

Over on table 144, Dan Shak also had a short stack behind in three-way action when he bet the 1099 flop. Robert Yass folded and Nacho Barbero called. They checked down the 6 turn and 7 river as Shak announced aces, exposing the AA43.

"You win," Barbero declared and checked his cards again ... then said with a dry voice "oh wait, I have a straight" while sliding the cards into the muck.

"Where are my aces, everybody else gets them but I don't," Sam Farha begrudgingly inquired as he, too, had become a short stack.

Zappulla Chops Again; Williams Scoops Leyo

Livello 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

A total of 84,000 chips go from Pascal Leyo to David Williams when the latter has AA43 for a set of aces and the nut low on the A62J8 board, which beat the A973 of Leyo.

Steve Chanthabouasy tried to knock out Paul Zappulla when he got it in with the AQ52 on the A103 flop for Zappulla to look him up holding with the AAK10 for the top set. Chanthabouasy needed a four to scoop but the 5 turn and 8 river gave him a live eight for the low to chop, at least.

Zappulla Left Short in Three-Way Chop

Livello 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Paul Zappulla was the next short stack to get the chips into the middle and he was up against Alan Sternberg and Brad Ruben.

On a board of J10543, the A632 made the nut low and a six-high straight, yet he had to chop the low with Ruben and his AK82. Sternberg's A983 made the nut flush to win the high portion of the pot.

Montgomery Escapes Again

Livello 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Yarron Bendor earned three quarters of James Chen (US) and then was involved in a three-way pot that had Kyle Montgomery all-in and at risk. He was up against Bendor and Jason Daly, the latter of which check-folded the Q885 turn to a bet by Bendor.

"I think I am in big trouble here, do you have a big pair again? Aces?" Montgomery asked prior to the showdown and was then puzzled.

Kyle Montgomery: JJ42
Yarron Bendor: A993

Montgomery had decent chances to scoop it all for a triple up but the 2 on the river ensured a chop instead.

One table over, Nacho Barbero scooped Jay Kerbel with a rivered full house while Christopher Stephan has become one of the short stacks.
