2023 World Series of Poker
The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) consists of 95 bracelet events and is almost entirely tournament-focused, but there are also opportunities to play high-stakes cash games at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas this summer.
Located in the back of the Paris Convention Center, the fabled King's Lounge is lined with high-stakes cash game tables where you may spot Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius or Daniel Negreanu playing No-Limit Hold'em or Pot-Limit Omaha.
The players are on their 75-minute dinner break. Play is expected to resume around 8:40 p.m.

Suhail Khan found himself involved in a huge hand shortly before the dinner break.
A player in middle position raised before the flop and Khan called in the small blind after the button folded. The big blind also folded.
The flop saw 8♥6♣7♦. Khan checked and his opponent bet 25,000, which was met by Khan check-raising to 65,000. His opponent briefly studied the board before making the call.
The 6♠ appeared on the turn to pair the board, and Khan moved all in for his remaining 142,500 chips. His opponent went in the tank for at least a minute, and then asked for a count. Upon hearing the amount, Khan’s opponent once again went in the tank while studying the board. Khan’s opponent, who had Khan covered, eventually made the call.
Khan: A♦8♦
Opponent: 10♥7♥
Khan had top pair, top kicker, while his opponent had middle pair and gut-shot straight draw.
The river was a blank, giving Khan the big pot.

Jack Jenco was down to his last 44,000 chips in middle position, leaving him with less than ten big blinds.
He moved all in, and was quickly called by a player on the button. The two blinds folded, leading to Jenco and his opponent to table their hands.
Jenco: K♥10♦
Opponent: Q♠Q♦
Jenco was behind, but the flop of 9♦J♠3♦ gave him additional outs with a gut-shot straight draw if his opponent hit a set.
That exact scenario happened on the turn, when Q♣ hit the board and Jenco took the lead with a straight. With his opponent now holding a set, Jenco now had to dodge the board pairing, He survived when 6♥ appeared on the river.
