Wallace Jammed the Turn

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Duston Wallace earned a nice double up prior to the bubble bursting.

The button raised preflop and Wallace called in the big blind. The flop came 1027 and a round of betting occurred. The pot was fairly large on the turn when Wallace jammed for all his remaining chips 50,000.

Palmer was way behind as he stood up from his chair ready to leave the tournament, the dealer spread a flop of 764, not giving him much hope. The K hit the turn, with Palmer picking up a flush draw and the 2 river completed his flush as he doubled up.

"Found some luck there," Palmer said as he collected the pot.

Durner Knocks Out Liebert

Livello 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Kathy Liebert found herself as one of the shortest stacks at her table after the dinner break.

Liebert, a member of the Women Poker Hall of Fame, had to pick a spot and she appeared to contemplate a move in the big blind after a raise in early position led to a call from a player at the cutoff. Liebert already had 16,000 in the pot between the big blind and ante, and she elected to fold.

On the very next hand, action folded to her in the small blind and she made her stand with less than 10 big blinds in her short stack by going all in. Taylor Durner called in the big blind.

Liebert: Q8
Durner: A3

The dealer ran out a board of A89510. Durner’s top pair eliminated Liebert.
