Keith Lehr limped and called a raise to 135,000 by Biao Ding, then jammed the 9♦8♠7♦ flop for 215,000 to force out Ding.
Michael Moncek limped and Jeffrey Davoud raised the pot to 135,000. Jonathan West was forced all-in for 30,000 from the big blind and Moncek called. On the 10♦10♥9♠ flop, Moncek check-called for 150,000 before they checked down the 3♥ turn and K♠ river.
Davoud announced aces and showed the A♣A♥ first. Moncek revealed his A♦Q♠J♣9♣ for a straight and won the side pot, as West had flopped a full house with the J♥10♠9♦2♣.
Soon after, West got a shove through and almost doubled after his triple-up.
Dan Shak opened to 100,000 from under the gun for Noah Boeken to defend the big blind, then check-folded the A♠6♣5♥ flop when Shak bet 150,000. The latter revealed the A♦A♣8♦3♠ and Nick Schulman added a rather dry "story checks out".
Last but not least, Oliver Weis checked the A♦6♠2♠5♥K♥ river and Ren Lin bet 275,000. Weis was covered by that and reluctantly folded as the tournament continued with 23 contenders still in the mix.
