Chidwick Takes a Chunk Off Glantz on the Soft Bubble

Livello 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Matt Glantz opened in middle position to 60,000 before the action folded all the way to Stephen Chidwick in the big blind who defended.

The AA9 flop landed and the action checked to Glantz who continued for 75,000. Chidwick stuck in the chips and the 7 hit the turn.

The action slowed down and checked through to a 6 river. Chidwick sat in the tank for a moment before putting out a larger bet of 180,000. Glantz went into the tank but eventually found a fold and Chidwick continued to chip-up as the bubble was near.

Shak Beats Boeken in Showdown

Livello 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Soon after the final three tables were set, Adam Hendrix lost a battle of short stacks against Stephen Chidwick and the cards were already scooped up.

Noah Boeken then raised to 75,000 in the cutoff and Dan Shak called on the button, the blinds folded.

The 1033 flop was checked and Boeken check-called the 8 turn for 100,000. Both checked again the 6 river and Boeken announced a ten, which Shak had beat with the KKQ6 for kings and tens.

Dan Shak raised in the cutoff and then called the all-in of Daniel Dvoress on the button.

Daniel Dvoress: KK62
Dan Shak: AQ97

The 86358 runout gave Shak a nine-high straight and Dvoress was eliminated in 25th place. All remaining 24 contenders will now redraw to the final three tables.

Eveslage and Oya Get All the Chips In

Livello 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The action folded all the way to Masashi Oya on the button who opened to 75,000. The small blind folded and then Chad Eveslage defended his big blind.

The 6103 flop landed and the action checked to Oya who potted it. That was quickly met with an all in from Eveslage followed by a snap call from Oya. The cards hit their backs with Oya all in and at risk.

Chad Eveslage: Q9610
Masashi Oya: AA210

The double-suited aces of Oya needed some help but the 6 turn only improved Eveslage. The K river changed nothing and Oya hit the rail just before the money.

Schulman Takes it on the Flop

Livello 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Nick Schulman raised to 70,000 right before the blinds had gone up and Dan Shak defended the big blind.

Shak checked on the Q74 flop and Schulman bet 60,000, after which Shak asked how much he played.

"Three ninety five," Schulman replied and Shak folded a few seconds later.

Glantz Chips Up; Szecsi Doubles

Livello 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Matt Glantz and Ren Lin had spun up their shorter stacks to then get involved in a hand to the 9436A river. Lin bet 80,000 from under the gun and Glantz bumped it up to 225,000.

Lin went deep into the tank and at some point asked the dealer how many time banks he had left.

"You have two left, you already used five," the dealer responded.

Lin was visibly struck and used one more time bank extension before he folded.

At the same time one table over, Daniel Dvoress raised the button and called a three-bet to 200,000 by Norbert Szecsi in the small blind. Szecsi bet the A107 flop for 135,000 and left 5,000 behind. Dvoress raised and Szecsi called it off after a few seconds.

Norbert Szecsi: QQJ9
Daniel Dvoress: AJ93

The 10 turn changed nothing but the K river gave Szecsi broadway for the double.

Livello 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick tangled with Jonathan West and the latter was all-in after the KJ5 flop, looked up by Chidwick with the covering stack.

Jonathan West: 10983
Stephen Chidwick: AAJ2

The 2 turn and 9 river kept West ahead with his flush and he held onto the double. In the meanwhile, Sean Troha was eliminated and the field was reduced to just 26 players.
