Kaufmann again checked the J♦ river and Arduini slowed down and checked back, surrendering the pot to Kaufmann's two pair.

The flop fanned out A♦J♥5♥ and Ponakovs continued for 325,000. Arduini made the call with his top pair before Dodd quickly folded.

The 4♥ arrived on the turn and Ponakovs decided to check. Arduini then made a bet of 900,000 and Ponakovs quickly folded his pocket kings.

Owen Dodd opened to 400,000 in middle position with J♥10♥ as action folded to Aleksejs Ponakovs in the small blind who woke up with A♣K♥ and three-bet to 1,175,000. Dodd quickly folded.

The next hand, Dodd shoved for 3,850,000 from early position with 8♥8♣. David Kaufmann had A♣J♣ in the cutoff and tanked for around 30 seconds before folding, while the rest of the table also got out of the way and Dodd took the pot.

Kaufmann checked and called the subsequent 400,000 bet that Boatman put out. On the 2♠ river, Kaufmann checked again and this time faced a 750,000-chip bet from Boatman.

Kaufman flicked in a call, but mucked his cards when Boatman showed his top pair.

On the first hand back from break, Peter Jorgne moved all in for 2,900,000 from the button with K♠J♥ and both blinds quickly folded.

Lorenzo Arduini then moved all in from the small blind with A♦J♠ and Ami Barer folded K♠4♣ for his last 1,880,000 in the big blind.

Two hands later, action folded to Barer on the button who pushed his last 1,775,000 in the middle holding K♥10♥ and found no takers from the blinds.

Ponakovs Sees Through Boatman

Eric Afriat raised to 325,000 from the hijack with Q♠J♠ and Aleksejs Ponakovs made the call on the button A♦5♦. Barny Boatman also came along with 10♦9♥ in the big blind and the dealer spread a flop of 7♥6♣4♣.

The action checked to Ponakovs, who slid in a bet of 350,000. Boatman called with his gutshot before Afriat got out of the way.

The turn was the J♦ and saw Boatman lead out for 675,000. Ponakovs was a non-believer and made a to 2,100,000, forcing Boatman to get rid of his hand.

A hand after Eric Afriat's double up, Lorenzo Arduini raised to 300,000 in early position and Sindre Hansen tossed in his last 25,000 chip.

"Good luck," Barny Boatman told him.

"Now you wish me luck," Hansen replied.

"I wished you luck before if you were listening," Boatman added.

Peter Jorgne also called in the big blind as he and Arduini saw a flop of 9♥8♠3♥. Arduini then bet 300,000 and Jorgne called.

Both players checked the 10♠ turn and the 3♣ fell on the river. Arduini then bet 1,200,000 and Jorgne again called.

Arduini showed K♠K♣ and Jorgne mucked 2♠2♣. Hansen had picked up Q♥Q♣ but it wasn't enough to avoid being sent to the rail in ninth place.
