Three ways on a flop of A♦K♦8♠, Luis Vazquez checked from the small blind and Nikola Minkov checked from the big blind to Cole Uvila, who bet 250,000 from the hijack. Vazquez called and Minkov folded.
The 5♥ fell on the turn and Vazquez checked again — prompting a 600,000 bet from Uvila. Vazquez revealed the lone Q♦ and slid his hand into the muck to award Uvila the pot.
Gerald Morrell raised to 130,000 with A♥K♣ from and early position. Danielle Andersen folded K♥Q♣ and Kristen Foxen folded A♠10♥. Brian Kim woke up with A♦A♣ and called.
The flop came 10♦7♥6♥ and Morrell checked. Kim bet 115,000 and Morrell called.
The turn came 5♠ and there was no way for Morrell to improve. Morrell checked and Kim bet 185,000, which got a fold from Morrell.
A massive pile of chips was already in the middle as Francisco Sanchez and Boris Angelov went to the river on a board of 5♦6♣Q♣4♦7♥.
According to Sanchez, after action checked around on the flop he bet 400,000 on the turn from the cutoff. Angelov then raised to 1,300,000 in the small blind and Sanchez called.
Angelov moved all in on the river and Sanchez called for 1,850,000. Angelov showed 4♠4♥ for a set of fours, but Sanchez had Q♥Q♦ for a flopped set of queens to win the enormous pot and double up.
Ho Lee opened to 125,000 from early position and Kyosuke Nagami called from the next seat. The action folded to Hiroki Nawa in the big blind who thought for over a minute before shoving all in for around 1,850,000. Lee was thinking for a long time and still couldn't come to a decision.
"If I fold, do I get that sweet?" asked Lee in reference to the red dice lollipop that Nawa had in front of him.
Nawa didn't say anything but placed the lollipop on top of his stack that was in the middle of the table.
Eventually, Lee folded, and Nagami followed suit.
"Give me that sweet," said Lee. Nawa didn't oblige and took the lollipop back into his stack as he raked in the pot.
Action was followed after Rene Nezhoda had three-bet to 460,000 from the cutoff and Arthur Morris had four-bet jammed from the hijack. Rene Nezhoda called, putting Morris at risk from elimination.
Arthur Morris: A♣K♣
Rene Nezhoda: A♦10♥
Morris was looking to hold to stay in the tournament and things were looking good when the flop came 2♣8♥2♦.
The 9♣ turn and 6♣ river secured Morris with the double.
Valentin Oberhauser in the hijack and Merijn van Rooij in the big blind raised each other and ended up moving all-in, with Oberhauser at risk for 3,060,000.
Valentin Oberhauser: Q♣Q♦
Merijn van Rooij: A♥K♦
After he lost massive pots during the last level against van Rooij, Oberhauser won this one on 6♥J♦9♥10♣9♣ and secured a double up.
