The action was picked up from the A♥J♦5♣ flop with Tyler Montoya in a middle position with 9♠9♦ and Jacques Ortega in the big blind with A♦Q♥.
The pot stood at 165,000 when Ortega checked and Montoya bet 40,000, which got a call from Ortega.
Ortega checked the K♦ turn and Montoya raised to 320,000. Ortega took a few moments before moving all his chips into the middle. Montoya snap folded and Ortega took the pot.
A player moved their short stack into the middle from under the gun and Samiyel Duzgun called in early position.
Under the Gun Player: K♦3♦
Samiyel Duzgun: A♥J♥
Duzgun was ahead and improved to trips on the A♣4♠9♥6♥A♠ runout to send his opponent to the rail while adding much needed chips to his somewhat anaemic stack.
Boris Angelov opened to 65,000 from the cutoff and just behind him, Michael Estes three-bet to 140,000 on the button. Action folded back around to Angelov, who announced he was all in, which was enough to put Estes all in for approximately 600,000 total.
Estes went deep into the tank and eventually folded what he claimed to be jacks. Angelov showed he held 3♥3♦ as he collected the pot.
Michael Pettinella opened to 60,000 from early positon before Andrew Hanna three-bet to 180,000 from middle position. Han Ming Feng called from the small blind and Petttinella also came along.
The 8♦7♠2♦ flop checked through to the 6♣ turn, where Feng led out for 200,000. Only Pettinella called.
The 2♣ completed the board, and Feng began counting out his stack. After some thinking time, he sized up to 650,000, leaving around 60,000 behind.
Pettinella went deep into the tank, immediately informing the table that he may need a minute.
"Sick spot bro," said Pettinella as he stood up from his chair. More time passed and Pettinella continued his attempt to get a read, asking Feng if he would show if Pettinella folded.
Feng remained stoic, taking a swig out of his drink can.
The drink sounded empty, which Petinnella picked up on.
"There's not even anything in there."
Pettinella then offered Feng his glass dice card protector and offered him to roll it. Feng remained as still as a statue.
Pettinella continued to mull over his options, extending his apologies to the table and would have no objections if anyone called the clock.
"Nice hand," said Pettinella as he threw his cards into the muck, awarding the pot to Feng, who also returned his cards to the dealer after the hand played out.
Jean Lhuillier raised to 60,000 in the cutoff and Rudy Cervantes called on the button. David Wintersberger then three-bet to 300,000 in the big blind and Lhuillier folded. Cervantes, though, moved all in for 810,000 and Wintersberger snap-called.
Rudy Cervantes: 9♦9♠
David Wintersberger: 10♠10♥
Cervantes was dominated by Wintersberger's better pocket pair and found no help on the K♦3♠6♦8♣5♣ board as he was sent to the rail.
At the same time at another table, action folded to Ren Lin who raised to 100,000 in the small blind. Nicholas Howard then three-bet to 275,000.
Lin reraised to 600,000 and Howard quickly folded.
"Show the bluff," a tablemate said.
"$200 cash," Lin replied as, with no money forthcoming, he mucked his cards facedown.
"No cameras, no bluff. Aces. That's the last time you'll three-bet me," Lin told Howard as he took the pot.
Bryan Dickens raised to 60,000 from under the gun, and he was called by Adel Naoun in the cutoff, Parker Talbot on the button and Aditya Prasetyo in the big blind.
On a flop of 3♠10♠9♦, Prasetyo checked then saw Dickens moving all-in for 410,000.
Naoun quickly folded, as well Talbot, and Prasetyo eventually chose to fold as well.
The dealer announced a seat open over on table 666 and Toronto's Demosthenes Kiriopoulos was the one waiting for the payout runner. In a multi-way pot, his Q♣Q♠ had found their master in the A♣A♥ of Brian Hawkins as the aces held on a board of 8♥8♣4♣6♠7♦.
