Blackburn Spikes the River

Livello 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

A player from early position raised to 400 and was called by a player in middle position. Nick Blackburn three-bet to 1,700 from the cutoff, which the early position player called and the middle position player folded.

The flop came 5J2 and the player in early position check-called the bet of 2,000.

After the turn came with the 6, both players checked to the river.

The river was the K and after the early position player checked, Blackburn bet 2,000 and was quickly called. Blackburn tabled AK for top pair, top kicker, and his opponent mucked his hand.

The table also relayed info about the first hand of the tournament, when Mark Brennan eliminated a player after flopping quad queens. Brennan and his opponent got all the chips in on the turn, when his opponent needed a K for a royal flush. The river gave Brennan a sweat when it came the K, but his quads were still best and he doubled up on the first hand of the tournament.

Sardella Turns a Straight Flush

Livello 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

With around 4,000 chips in the pot and a board that read 5874, Jeff Sardella had checked to the player in the hijack, who bet 5,000. Sardella then shoved his stack of 18,000 into the middle, and the hijack snap-called for 14,000 total.

Hijack: KQ All in
Jeff Sardella: 76

The entire table was in disbelief that Sardella had turned a straight flush, which left the hijack drawing dead. A meaningless J completed the board and Sardella was pushed the pot, which sent his opponent to the rail early on.

Mansfield Quadruples Up

Livello 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A player from early position raised to 800, a player in middle position and the hijack called. Jerry Mansfield three-bet all in for his last 1,700 chips, which the small blind and both players in early and middle position called. That is when the hijack four-bet all in for 15,100, which got the rest of the table to fold, leaving him and Mansfield heads up.

Jerry Mansfield: A7 All in
Hijack: 77

Mansfield needed help to stay in the tournament and the AJK flop was exactly what he was looking for, improving to a pair of aces and a flush draw. The turn was the 3 and the river came the 4 to give Mansfield the nut flush and the quadruple up.

Broad Running Hot Early On

Livello 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Alex Broad has enjoyed the last few minutes of play as he has doubled up twice in a short space of time.

First, Broad got his pocket kings in against the early position player and found a lucky river.

Alex Broad: KK All in
Early Position: AK

Broad's opponent turned an ace on the 7J9A board but Broad hit his one-outer when the K fell on the river.

Not long after, there was a board of 81042J where Broad's opponent shoved all in on the river with AA, and Broad found the call with 84 for two pair.
