The first day of Event #61: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em at the 2024 World Series of Poker, held at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, has concluded with a record-breaking 3,362 entries, generating an enticing prize pool of $2,958,560. The top prize is set at $358,045, along with the coveted bracelet, while the minimum payout starts at $2,001 for those finishing in 505th place and above. A total of 975 players remain and will return tomorrow at 11 a.m. local time to compete at the Horseshoe Event Center.

David Goodkin (349,500) is the overnight chip leader. Along with him at the top of the leaderboard is Paul Runge with 275,000, followed closely by Robert Nolen with 264,000 and Nick Bennett with 258,000.

Day 2 will commence at 11 a.m. local time, with players scheduled to play ten 60-minute levels. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 16 at approximately 5:30 p.m. local time. The clock will start on Level 11, with blinds set at 1,000/2,000 and a big blind ante of 2,000.
