Dai Forces Coakley Out

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Shang Dai
Shang Dai

Robert Coakley raised 125,000 in the hijack before Shang Dai three-bet 370,000 on the button. The blinds quickly folded and Coakley made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of 1066, and both players checked to see the A turn.

Coakley checked once more before Dai fired 175,000 into the middle, and that was enough to force Coakley out of the pot.

Quan Zhou opened to 140,000 from middle position and Raj Vohra called from the blinds.

The JJ9 flop checked through to the 4 turn. Vohra led out for 250,000 and was called. He then sized up to 550,000 on the 8 river. Zhou quickly called but mucked when he saw the bad news as Vohra had a boat with his J8.

Pateychuk Sends Caubet to the Rail

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Gregory Caubet moved all in from early position for his last 650,000 and received a call from Andrey Pateychuk on the button who had him covered.

Gregory Caubet: AJ
Andrey Pateychuk: QQ

Caubet was drawing thin against Pateychuk's pocket queens and remained so on the 2810 flop. The Q turn gave Pateychuk a set and left Caubet drawing to a double-gutshot straight draw. The 3 river was a brick and Caubet was sent to the rail while Pateychuk collected his chips.

Dea Not Looking For TV Time

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 4J6, Andrew Dea bet 450,000 from the small blind and Jordan Westmorland called in the hijack.

The turn came the A and Dea led out for another 1,050,000. Westmorland starred down his opponent for a moment before assembling the chips to call and sticking them in the middle.

The K fell on the river and Dea bet 600,000 this time. Westmorland didn't take too long before he mucked.

"You go on TV. I promise you," a tablemate said to Dea as he began sliding his cards into the middle and taking in the pot.

"I know what they are," Dea replied without showing.

The cards were on their backs with Dean Lyall as the player at risk. He needed his 88 to hold versus Matthias Auer, who exposed A7.

The suited ace hit on the AK1054 board and Lyall headed to the payout desk with fewer than 170 players remaining.

Yu Tang
Yu Tang

Ludovic Geilich raised to 120,000 from early position before Yu Tang jammed all in for 1,410,000. The action then folded to Amit Makhija in the big blind, who tanked for a while before reshoving with the covering stack.

Geilich folded and the other two showed down.

Yu Tang: AQ
Amit Makhija: 1010

It was a classic flip, and when the board remained free of aces and queens on 99K42, Makhija was declared the winner.

Yu awaited his payout and left the tournament area shortly after.

Danny Grogan opened to 120,000 from under the gun and then called after Andrew Neeme moved all in for his last 805,000 from middle position.

Andrew Neeme: 77
Danny Grogan: 1010

Neeme was in rough shape and did not get any immediate help on the KKQ flop. The 9 turn left Neeme needing to hit a seven on the river but instead it was his opponent who improved, finding the 10 to send Neeme to the rail late on Day 5.

Li Bets Big, Shows Payne the Bluff

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Joshua Payne and Pei Li built a pot of nearly 2,000,000 heading to the river on a completed board of 23Q76. Payne, in middle position, checked over to Li who fired out 1,100,000.

"Golly," Payne said as he began tanking. He eventually grabbed the chips to call and held them in his fist as the clock continued to tick away. He then asked tablemate Matthias Auer to put a timer on him.

Payne ended up folding what he claimed was queen-ten and Li showed him AK for just ace-high.
