Hall Bluffs Auer Off a Chopped Nut Straight

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

There was a big three-way pot brewing as Matthias Auer bet 175,000 on the flop of 782 before Zachary Hall raised to 625,000 and a player in middle position cold-called. Auer also called.

Auer checked on the 6 turn and Hall bet 850,000. The middle position player folded and Auer check-raised to 1,875,000. Hall called.

Auer then checked on the board-pairing 7 river and threw up his hands as Hall moved all in with him covered. Auer leaned over the table and stared at the board for several minutes as he thought through a decision. Eventually he folded what he said was ten-nine for a straight.

After the fold, Hall turned over 109 in celebration as Auer shook his head after getting bluffed off a chop.

"You can't call," Hall told him.
