Two Jams Without a Call

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a heads-up river of Q8756, Eric Schneider pushed all-in for 885,000 against Alexander Villa. The latter tanked for a while and folded.

In the next hand, Nick Marchington pushed for the 390,000 he had left on the button. Schneider folded reluctantly from the small blind and Maurice Hawkins also gave it some thought before folding.

"If I double you, I know I got a problem," Hawkins had declared while mulling it over.

Li Shows Aces

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Joshua Payne opened to 100,000 from early position and Pei Li three-bet to 285,000 from the next seat.

Payne sized up Li's stack and asked how much he was playing before throwing his cards to the muck. It was the right move as Li showed the tabled AA.

"I almost shoved," said Payne. "I had king-queen."

Waysei Puts Geilich to the Test

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Koveh Waysei opened to 100,000 from under the gun and received calls from Amit Makhija on the cutoff and Ludovic Geilich in the small blind.

All three players checked the K78 flop leading to the Q on the turn. Geilich bet 295,000 and Waysei responded by moving all in for approximately 1,800,000, sending Geilich deep into the tank after Makhija got out of the way.

"Makes me think you got a big combo draw" Geilich thought out loud, regarding the big overbet.

"Ace-Jack of hearts... Jack-Ten of hearts..."

After about two and a half minutes Gelich released his cards into the muck.

"Show the Jack of Hearts" Geilich requested of his opponent.

Waysei revealed the K and told Geilich he had him crushed as he collected the pot.

Das Bets Into Harder and Livshitz

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Three-handed on a flop of 9103, Anirban Das bet 175,000 from middle position and Gabi Livshitz called on the button, as did big blind Christian Harder.

The turn came the 7 and Das fired out another 365,000. Livshitz folded this time, but Harder stuck around to see the 8 river.

He checked again and Das checked back, showing 107. Harder mucked in frustration as Das took in the pot.

Poker streamer Patrick Tardif is also seated at this table.

Villa Scores Massive Double Against Marchington

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Alexander Villa
Alexander Villa

Alexander Villa already had 300,000 across the line on the button and was faced with another raise of 750,000 from Nick Marchington. After a long tank, Villa moved all-in for 2,725,000 and Marchington snap-called.

Alexander Villa: QQ
Nick Marchington: 1010

The 983 flop was quite the sweat for Villa as Marchington picked up a flush draw to go with his pair of tens. The 4 turn and 9 river were no improvement though, sending the pot to Villa.

Over on the right hand feature table, a very short-stacked Rene Majed was all-in out of the big blind with the 108. Clemen Deng had him dominated with KK in early position but the German rail had reason to celebrate on the J10863 runout.

Paytas Leaves Ohannessian Short

Livello 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Arthur Ohannessian opened from middle position and Nathan Paytas three-bet to 275,000 from the cutoff. Ohannessian four-bet to 680,000. Paytas five-bet jammed for around 2,400,000 and Ohannessian quickly called with around the same stack.

Arthur Ohannessian: KK
Nathan Paytas: QQx

Paytas had the lower pocket pair and couldn't hit a queen as the board ran out 8469K to improve Ohannessian to a set. An extensive count that required some assistance from the floor confirmed that Paytas had Ohannessian covered and was left with a meager 70,000.

As the lengthy chip count took place, Oscar Alache took some selfies with a nicely constructed chip tower.
