A player in the small blind limped before David Lappin checked his option out of the big blind.

The small blind led out for 5,000 on the 5♠5♥8♣ flop and Lappin quickly called.

There was no slowing down for the small blind following the 9♥ turn as he instead fired again, this time sizing up to 13,000. As on the previous street, Lapin just called.

The board pairing 9♦ river saw both players check to showdown with Lappin turning over Q♠8♥, sufficient to take down the pot as the Irish pro continues to add to his stack.

Park Pulls Out a Crazy Semi Bluff

According to the table, the cutoff opened and it was called by the button and Kwanghwan Park in the big blind.

The flop brought 7♥3♠3♥ and it checked to the button who bet 8,000. Only Park made the call.

On the 8♦ turn, Park led out for 35,000 and his opponent made the call.

When the 6♥ landed on the river Park checked. The button fired 87,000 in the middle and Park replied by shoving, putting his opponent at risk for a stack around 350,000.

The latter went deep into the tank, and after a few minutes he eventually folded, showing 6♦6♠ for the full house. Park flipped over A♦7♠ before grabbing the big pot.

"You're crazy man!" said the initial player. "That was a crazy hand'.

Seymour Finds Vital Double-Up, Weissman Gone

After some preflop raising had taken place, the small blind had put in 100,000 chips and the action was back on American Football Hall of Famer Richard Seymour. He jammed all in for 234,000 and brought despair upon his opponent.

"This is bad for me, you know?" the small blind said. Seymour just responded with a smile.

Eventually, he made the call, asking "Ace-king?"

Seymour's opponent had guessed correctly, but his prior detrimental gut feeling was also correct when the board came out 9♥10♠3♣A♠8♠ to give Seymour a pair of aces and the double-up.

The K♠ river saw the big blind check once more. Kanakopoulos bet 175,000; more than enough to put his opponent all in for their tournament life.

After some time in the tank, Kanakopoulos's opponent tossed their cards into the muck.

Global Poker Summer Series IV Will Feature Four Main Events

Following a successful Grand Prix Turbo Series Montreal earlier this month, Global Poker announced that it will run the Summer Series IV right in time for all of the summer's poker action.

The Summer Series IV will take place June 26-July 9 and will feature several Gold and Sweeps Coins events. The series will have GC 630,000,000 in total prizes guaranteed and 28 Gold Coin trophies and SC 1,260,000 in total prizes guaranteed and 28 Sweeps Coin trophies.

The biggest draw of the series will be the GC and SC Main Events on July 9, which will feature respective guarantees of GC 630,000,000 and SC 1,260,000 across four events. The Prog Bounty, Super Deep Main Events will kicks things off before the regular Super Deep Main Events later in the evening.

Breed Overcomes Dinh's Speech Play

Action was joined on the 4♦4♣K♥ flop with Koen Breed betting 7,000 under the gun. Andy Dinh, the button, raised to 16,000. "I just won the pot," said a smiling Dinh. Breed contemplated for a few moments before raising to 40,000.

"Sh*t," said Dinh in response. "Huh. I guess I have to call," he said, tossing in chips.

The Q♥ arrived on the turn, and Breed led out for 20,000. Dinh waited a few moments before putting in the call.

The river brought the 5♦. Breed bet 35,000, and Dinh appeared unsure of his next move. "If I fold, will you show me?" he asked Breed, who remained motionless. "No?" added Dinh. After considering for a few more moments, Dinh said that he was making a bad call and announced that he was calling. Breed turned over A♥K♣, and Dinh flashed Kx10x as he folded.
