Rosalie Petit played two hands in a small span of time against the same opponent.

In the first hand, the pot amounted to 10,000 on a completed board of [8djskh9sh3h]. Petit led for 6,000 from the big blind and the player in the cutoff called.

Petit tabled Q♠10♦ and the straight was good for the win.

A few hands later, Petit was sitting in early position and her nemesis was on the button. This time, the pot totaled 12,000 and Petit checked.

The button bet 9,000 on a completed board of 3♠A♠7♠Q♠7♦ and Petit mulled it over before eventually folding.

Baumann Folds On The River

While her most memorable hands were displayed on the screens in the room, Gaelle Baumann opened to 600 from the hijack and was called by both players in the blinds.

On Q♥6♦10♦, the small blind took the lead, betting 1,800. The big blind called, as did Baumann.

On the turn Q♣, the small blind said "1,800 again." This time, the big blind folded, but Baumann didn't give up and called.

The 3♠ came on the river and the small blind sized up to 4,500. Baumann immediately folded and let the pot go to her opponent.

Normand Spends the First Hand in the Blender

The action folded around to the small blind who limped in and Frederic Normand raised to 800 in the big blind. His opponent called and the flop came Q♥J♥7♥. The small blind checked to Normand who bet 400 and his opponent called.

The turn brought the 4♠ and the small blind checked again. Normand sized up a bet of 1,600 this time and his opponent still called. The river was the 10♠ and the small blind instantly led out with a bet of 3,000. Normand went into the tank for well over three minutes on the first hand.

"Sorry guys," he said after a couple of minutes which got some chuckles from the table. Normand eventually called and his opponent showed K♥ for a missed flush draw while Normand held 4♣4♦ for a set of fours.

Hallaert Gets Raised On The River

WSOP Main Event finalist (2016) Kenny Hallaert was in the big blind when a player in early position opened to 500. The Belgian player defended and saw the flop J♠K♥J♦. Hallaert checked and the initial opener checked back.

On the turn 10♥, Hallaert took the lead, betting 1,000. His opponent called.

The 6♥ landed on the river and Hallaert bet once more, this time to 3,000. His opponent raised to 6,500 and after a few seconds, Hallaert folded.

Kelly's Queen Good Against Mateos

After action limped around, Adrian Mateos opened from the small blind and only Mark Kelly made the call from the cutoff.

The two went to a flop of 9♠7♦Q♦ and Mateos continued for 2,200 which Kelly called to see the turn 7♠.

Both Mateos and Kelly decided to check through and went straight to the 9♦ river where they also checked.

Mateos flipped over K♣J♦ to play the board with king-high while Kelly tabled K♥Q♦ for two pair, queens and nines, to take the pot.

There was a raise under the gun to 700 and action folded to polarizing character Martin Kabrhel on the button.

"We agreed 1,000 minimum on the raise, yes?" Martin told the raiser. "We make rules and you break them."

Martin then immediately raised to 4,000. The early position raiser thought for a moment and laid down his hand.

What happened? Did I win?" Martin asked as he dragged the pot.

It's going to be a long day for the surrounding tables in Horseshoe Gold.
