Kindred Flops a Set to Eliminate Garagnani

Pedro Garagnani raised 160,000 in the cutoff and Justin Kindred three-bet all-in from the big blind. Garagnani went into the tank and asked for a count. The dealer broke down the stacks to show him it was 1,650,000, and after a couple of seconds more, he called off his stack of 1,400,000.

It was a coin flip until the K♣J♦7♠ flop hit the felt, giving Kindred a set of sevens. The 4♠ turn sealed the fate of Garagnani and the K♥ river was just a formality.

After Moshe Refaelowitz doubled up through Daniel Smiljkovic (A♠K♣>7x7x on 4♥K♠J♥3♠8♦), Alejandro Lococo called in the big blind after Johannes Straver opened on the button.

On the flop 3♦9♦6♦, Straver made a continuation bet of 80,000. Lococo then moved all in for approximately 1,200,000 chips. Straver called.

Straver had a set on the flop, but Lococo could still hit a straight. However, the A♦ came on the turn and the A♥ on the river, so Lococo left the tournament
