More for Kysar, Less for Exterkotter

Livello 12 : Blinds 0/0, 2,500 ante

Thomas Kysar opened to 25,000 from under the gun and was called by Marcos Exterkotter on the button.

Kysar bet 25,000 on the J108 flop and was called by Exterkotter. Both players checked the 8 turn.

The river was the A. Kysar bet again, this time for 47,000 and was once again called by his opponent.

Exterkotter tabled A10 for two pair and Kysar revealed KQ for the rivered Broadway straight to take the pot down.

Third Time is Not the Charm for Epstein

Livello 12 : Blinds 0/0, 2,500 ante
Alex Epstein
Alex Epstein

Alex Epstein found himself all-in in three consecutive hands.

Hand One:
Epstein jammed from middle position for 33,000 finding a caller in Jon Kyte on the button.

Alex Epstein: J9
Jon Kyte: K6

The board ran out Q9QAQ and Epstein secured his first double-up.

Hand Two:
The very next hand Epstein shoved all in from early position and failed to find a caller, though he still won the dead money in the middle.
"I had it this time" he announced as he tabled AQ.

Hand Three:
Epstein was now under the gun and attempted to move all in. Unfortunately, he did so in two motions and it was considered just a raise to 42,500 by the floor. Johan Schultz-Pedersen was next to act and moved all in for 149,500, as did
Pier Angelo Perazzi on the button. Epstein called off for his tournament life.

Alex Epstein: AK
Johan Schultz-Pedersen: KK
Pier Angelo Perazzi: AK

The board ran out 8Q1099. Schultz-Pedersen scooped the pot and eliminated Epstein.
