Roland Israelashvili limped in under the gun, as did Robert James in middle position. Marcos Exterkotter raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and Dario Sammartino called on the button. Israelashvili folded and James called.

The flop came 9♣7♦6♠. Action checked to Exterkotter, who bet out for 34,000. In response, Sammartino raised to 74,000 which prompted Israelashvili to fold, James to call and Exterkotter to get out of the way.

The turn came the K♥ and James now chose to lead for 150,000. Sammartino spent a considerable amount of time in the tank before finally making the fold. James won this pot without a showdown.
