Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Four ways to a flop of 36A, Daniel Negreanu was facing a a bet of 7,000, which he raised to 25,000 with two players left to act behind. They both folded and the initial bettor also folded.

Negreanu showed the AJ45 to which one of the other players in the hand said, "I folded top two-pair!" Negreanu then responded with, "And it's a good fold! Seriously... what you're hoping for on the turn? I got a 2, a 7, a diamond, top-pair...". Indeed, there were a plethora of cards that could have improved Negreanu's hand on the turn or river.

Ausmus Sends Schulman To The Rail

Livello 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

The action folded to Jeremy Ausmus on the button who opened for 15,000 and Nick Schulman moved all in from the big blind for 36,000 total, which Ausmus quickly called.

Nick Schulman: AQ73
Jeremy Ausmus: AQ82

Both players had very similar hands and looked to be a good chance of a chop. The board, however, had other plans when it ran out Q62JK to give Ausmus two pair with queen-deuce to score the pot and send Schulman to the rail.

Short Stack Seidel Quadruples

Livello 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After a cut-off raise to 20,000, the button called and Erik Seidel in the small blind, committed his final 9,000 chips to the pot.

The cut-off continued on a flop of JQK and folded out the button.

Erik Seidel: A7
Cut-Off: K10

It didn't look promising for Seidel but a 10 on the turn changed all that, and the river bricked a 3, taking his stack back over 30,000.
