Harder Soars Up The Leaderboard

Livello 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a heads-up pot with close to 50,000 in the middle on a flop of Q88, Christian Harder checked from under the gun to a player in the hijack who continued for 20,000. Harder made the call and the pair saw the 10 turn.

Harder elected to lead out for 24,000 and the hijack quickly tossed in chips for the call. The 3 completed the board and Harder announced all in, well covering the 79,000 remaining for his opponent, who went deep in the tank.

After close to two minutes of thought, the hijack made the call and the cards were shown. Harder tabled A973 for the nut flush and the hijack revealed KQJ9 for a straight, as he made his way to the exit.

Big Hand Before Break

Livello 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Fernando Habegger, better known for as Jnandez, placed a bet of 140,000 into an already bloated pot on a board that read JK8J9x.

Martin Zamini thought a while and asked, "If I made the wrong choice here will you feature it on your training site?"

A consumate professional, Habegger responded with, "You will make the wrong decision either way."

"You think so?..." After looking back at his hand twice, Zamani decided to fold and did his best to coax Habegger to show his hand.

Negreanu Takes Chips From Ausmus

Livello 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of 6J4, Daniel Negreanu bet 15,000 from the big blind. Action folded to Jeremy Ausmus, who had just moved to the table — and he called in the cut-off.

The turn came 2 and both players checked. The river was the J and Negreanu put out an 8,000 blocker bet.

Ausmus called, Negreanu showed A744 and Ausmus mucked. Negreanu laughed, "I would have had to call a raise"

Pot Limit Omaha

Daniel Negreanu opened the action to 20,000 from early position and it folded around to the player in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came 963 and the big blind checked to Negreanu who continued for 20,000. The big blind elected on a check-raise to pot of 112,000. Negreanu pulled out his phone to start recording before announcing all in, covering the remaining roughly 50,000 for the big blind, who made the call.

"Just give me a club," said Negreanu to the dealer before the 5 hit the turn to grant his wish.

"Okay now hold," said Negreanu as the A peeled off to complete the board and score the almost full double up for "Dnegs".

Weisman Is Baffled On The River

Dylan Weisman

No-Limit Hold'em

On a board reading 3Q410, Chris Brewer had checked in the big blind before Dylan Weisman placed a bet of 45,000, which Brewer called.

The J on the river completed the board and Brewer then placed a bet putting Weisman all-in for approximately 140,000. Weisman, whose only decision now was to either fold or call off the remainder of his chips.

Somehow, Weisman's entire thought process became auditory as the table quieted and he pattered off the various combos of hands that beat him, as well as the various likelihoods.

Weisman, stealing glances at Brewer, continued his even-keel barrage of logic, then exploring Brewer's potential bluffs - at this point tablemate Kristen Foxen began to visibly giggle and, finally, after apologizing to the table for the amount of time he'd taken, Weisman said, "I don't know how to play this game... I fold."

PokerNews hung around to hear the table's interchange after the hand and Weisman told Foxen that he'd folded Kings.
