At this point, proceedings became slightly confused when a player spilled coffee on the table and the floor was called upon to perform clean up duties while the hand progressed.
When the dust had settled, a 9♦ had been dealt on the river, some more chips were in the pot, and Birnbaum's Kx10x was good enough to take them all.

The river was the 2♥ and the hijack bet once more, this time for 3,000. When Kujubu called again, his opponent immediately said, "You got me."
Indeed he did. Kujubu turned over A♥Q♠ and the hijack swiftly mucked his cards, leaving Kujubu to add further chips to a stack which has already more than doubled in the first level of the day.
