Byron Weisfeld was absent from his seat for the first 90 minutes to start Day 3. Having only 270,000 to start the day, Weisfeld was slowly getting blinded out until he finally showed up with around 150,000 left in his stack.

According to the table, Weisfeld claimed that his hotel was on fire which caused the delay in his arrival.

Frederic Normand opened to 60,000 in early position and Boris Kolev pushed out a raise to 300,000 in the cutoff, leaving just 25,000 behind. Normand jammed all in and Kolev called as the cards were tabled.
