Kim Has Deeb Pipped

Livello 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Brian Kim
Brian Kim

Action is joined on a board of 3K610 and Shaun Deeb checked it over to Brian Kim who put out a bet of 12,000. Deeb went into the tank for about a minute before stacking all of his chips and putting them in the middle. The count came to 29,000 and action was back on Kim.

He took his time and thought it over, clearly with a difficult decision on his hands. After about a two minutes in the tank he flicked in the chips.

The cards hit their back.

Shaun Deeb: J10
Brian Kim: A10

"Why the slow roll?" Deeb said jokingly to Kim as the dealer burned and turned the blank river and Deeb hit the rail. He was however already seen registering again and will be right back in the mix.

Aliaksandr Shylko

There was an open under the gun to 3,500. Brent Hanks called in the cutoff and Aliaksandr Shylko made the call in the small blind. The players were off to a flop three ways.

The A65 flop hit the felt and Shylko started with a check. The preflop raiser made it 2,500 and both Hanks and Shylko made the call.

The 8 turn rolled off and now Shylko went into the tank for a moment before leading to the tune of 9,500. The under the gun player snap folded but Hanks made the call.

The A hit the river and Shylko went into the tank for about a minute before putting one blind to the side and sending the rest into the middle. Hanks only took a minute before making the fold and Shylko dragged a big pot to take him out of the short stack play.

Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Will Failla opened the action to 3,200 from middle position and the action folded to Brian Rast in the big blind who defended.

The 107Q monotone flop was checked by Rast and Failla quickly put out a bet of 3,500. Rast thought for a bit and made the call.

The 8 rolled off on the turn and both players checked. The river came a K and now Rast turned the pressure up on the four flush board by betting 6,500. Failla went into the tank for only a moment but eventually mucked his cards.

Rast dragged the pot and has a healthy chip stack halfway through the day.
